Ver (4 th from left) with Mr. Hassan Buhamood (5 th from left), PR Marketing and Advertising of King Hamad University Hospital, and Officers and Members of Pinay Ikaw Na under the leadership of Ms. Antonette Guese Avila (7 th from left) during the Blood Donation. 07 November 2016 - The Pinay Ikaw Na (PIN), in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy conducted a Blood Donation and Medical Mission for Filipinos in Bahrain on Friday, 04 November 2016, at the Philippine Embassy premises from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The blood donation and medical mission activities included general medical check-up, eye check-up, and blood sugar testing. PIN also conducted Hands-On CPR Training (Basic Life Saving Technique or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Participants who joined in the said training also supported the fundraising campaign that sold PIN’s Medical Mission T-shirts. The proceeds of the fundraiser will be given to selected beneficiaries, including Filipino patients who are suffering from terminal illnesses. Pinay Ikaw Na is a Filipino organization in the Kingdom of Bahrain duly recognized by the Embassy and is an active partner of the Embassy in extending assistance to OFWs in destress. PIN’s major sponsor during the said event is King Hamad University Hospital. Other minor sponsors include Filipino American Association, Travelers Tribe Masonic Club Bahrain, and LBC. END.
