MR. CHRISTOPHER A. OLAYAICT Coordinator
What is LIS?• A system for maintaining the registry of
learners aimed at meeting the following objectives:• Provide a standardized registration system
for learners• Track learner progress/performance • Provide learner information for better
program planning and supervision of schools and learning centers
• Enhance management of learner records
Roles of the Classroom Adviser
•Enroll appropriate enrollees to section handled (BOSY)•Update or correct personal background and information of learners•Promote learners during End of Schoolyear Report (EOSY)
NOTE:
The classroom advisers need the SF1 (School Register) in filling up
the data in the LIS
Guidelines:
•Class advisers shall be responsible for updating enrolment and learner data in the LIS. They must ensure that information in their respective class registries are updated and accurate.
Guidelines:
• Enrolment data in the LIS must be basedon learners who actually reported inschool from the date of the schoolopening (i.e. June 2, 2014). In enrollinglearners in the LIS, the “Date of FirstAttendance” must be entered. This refersto the actual date the learner reported inschool for the current school year (Note:This is NOT the registration or enrolmentdate).
Guidelines:
• The cut-off date for reporting “annualenrolment” is the 1st Friday (June 6, 2014) ofthe week of school opening. This annualenrolment is the total number of learner whoreported in school and attended classes fromthe school opening to the cut-off date (June2-6, 2014). These data constituting the annualdata will be entered in the LIS only until July11, 2014. after this date, the annualenrolment data will be automatically pushedto the enrolment summaries in the EBEIS.These summarized data in the EBEIS shallserve as official basis for the 2015 budgetexecution.
Guidelines:
• Late enrolees are learners who reported inschool after the June 6, 2014 cut-off date. These data be encoded in the systemincluding their “Date of First Attendance”after the enrolment data of June 2 – 6have been entered in the system. In orderto maintain an updated learner registry, late enrolees can still be encoded in thesystem even beyond the July 11, 2014deadline for encoding annual enrolmentdata.
Guidelines:
•Additional enrolment data referred toas “enrolment tags” shall be collectedand these are the following:
1. CCT Recipient refers to learners whose families arerecipients of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT)under Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) ofthe DSWD
2. ALIVE refers to learners who are enrolled in ArabicLanguage and Islamic Values Education classes.

Something to think of...
Technology will not replace teachers...
but teachers who use technology will probably replace teachers who do not.
