Reservation Process

Upon approval of your request, you will receive a contract detailing the terms of the agreement and applicable fees for your signature. A deposit of 50% of your total rental fees is required before rooms are reserved on calendar. A signed contract, proof of insurance and payment in full are due two weeks days prior to your event date. Reservations are subject to cancellation if payment and information are not received by this deadline.

Elliott Bay Room
Capacity: 800 square feet (25’ x 33’) 50 Standing Reception 50 Theater 35 Seated Reception 25 Classroom Features: Spectacular views of Elliott Bay. Can be combined with the Atrium Loft for additional space. Rates: $100 per hour +per event $50 facilities fee (3 hour minimum required)
Weekend Evening Flat Rate (FRI-SUN, AFTER 5PM): $600
Features: Versatile event space, adjacent to Atrium Kitchen. Includes use of café tables/chairs and stool seating on both floor and mezzanine. Multi-story open ceiling creates an airy feeling. Perfect for a reception, party or casual meeting. Easily combined with Atrium Kitchen for private dining events.
Rates: $100 per hour + $100 per event facilities fee (3 hour minimum required) Weekend Evening Flat Rate (FRI-SUN, AFTER 6PM): $1,500 + per event $100 facilities fee (includes Atrium Kitchen) Atrium Floor is only available after 6:00pm.
All hourly rentals have a three-hour minimum. One hour load in and load out. Elevator access is available to all levels of the building.
Security $25 per hour per officer. One officer is required for all events occurring after 6pm. Two officers are required for events using multiple levels and/or entry points. Facilities Fee

The PDA will refund any additional payments less any direct costs incurred on behalf of the Licensee and Event if notice of cancellation
is received two (2) weeks prior to the Event. Any cancellations made less than two (2) weeks prior to the Event will result in NO REFUND.
Economy Building Wi-Fi Access All event spaces in the Economy are equipped with free Wi-Fi access:

2. Open up an internet browser on your desktop or mobile device
Certificate of Insurance with the Pike Place Market PDA listed as additional insured is required for most events. Insurance requirements may be waived with approval of PDA for small private meetings (no more than 50 people) and/or events that do not serve or sell alcohol. Most events must carry liability insurance in the minimum limits of one million dollars ($1,000,000) for property damage and two million dollars ($2,000,000) per accident, with “Pike Place Market PDA” named as an Additional Insured. PLEASE NOTE: Separate insurance is not required if the event is sponsored by a commercial tenant of the Pike Place Market PDA whose insurance is on file. A letter from the commercial tenant sponsoring the event will be required.
Alcohol Permits
If alcohol will be served at your event, it is required that one of the following permits is obtained:
• Banquet Permit: A banquet permit allows the service and consumption of liquor at a private, invitation-only banquet or gathering held in a public place or business. • Special Occasion License: A special occasion license allows a bona fide nonprofit organization to sell liquor at a specific time, date and place. Examples of events include fundraising dinners, gala events, auctions, and wine tastings. *IMPORTANT: Please note that applications and fees for Special Occasion Licenses must be submitted 45 days prior to the first day of the event. Kitchen Cleaning
The Atrium Kitchen is a community rental space. You are expected to leave the Atrium Kitchen clean at the end of your event. Failure may result in additional fees or denial for future use. Kitchen cleaning supplies are located in the closet next to the dishwashing station. Please check off the items prior to closing the Kitchen:
Turn off oven and stove-top burners Wipe down/sanitize all cooking surfaces, sinks, countertops, walls and prep areas with sanitizer Wash and put away any rented kitchen equipment and/or tableware Make sure all items are removed from refrigerators, freezer and dishwasher Sweep floor and mop if necessary Place all trash, recycling and compost bins outside Kitchen door Make sure door closest to windows is bolted from inside Turn off lights

Driving Directions to the Market Parking Garage
Via I-5 North: Take the Madison Street exit, #164, and turn left. Follow Madison Street to Western Avenue. Turn right onto Western Ave. Follow Western Ave. for five blocks. The entrance to the Market Parking Garage is on the left side of the street.
Via I-5 South: Take the Denny Way/Stewart Street exit, #166. Follow Stewart Street to First Avenue. Turn right onto First Avenue. Two blocks north, turn left onto Lenora Street. Turn left onto Western Avenue. Follow Western Avenue for three blocks (passing Victor Steinbrueck Park on your right). The entrance to the Public Market Parking Garage is on the right side of the street.
Finding the Market Event Spaces via Parking Garage
Once parked – take the elevator located in the center of the garage to the sky bridge across Western Ave to the center of the Main Arcade. Once across take a right and follow the Main Arcade to the Pike Place Market “Clock” Sign and Rachel the Pig.
Finding the Atrium Suite from under the Public Market Center “Clock” Sign: Enter the Market at First & Pike and follow the sidewalk straight back to Rachel the Piggybank. If you stand next to Rachel the Piggy Bank, under the Clock Sign, and face Pike Place Fish (the corner of Pike Street & Pike Place), there is an upward staircase on your left next to Sunny Honey Company. When you reach the top of the stairs, the Atrium Suite (Atrium Loft, Elliott Bay Room, Salish Room) is to the right and the Goodwin Library is to the left. The Atrium floor is visible from the mezzanine and accessible by the elevator.
Finding the Atrium Suite from First Avenue & Pike Street: From First Avenue & Pike Street, between DeLaurenti’s and the newsstand, walk inside the Arcade (Economy Market Entrance) away from 1st Ave. There is a hallway on the left just past DeLaurenti's, opposite Seattle Bagel Bakery. The Atrium floor is just through the hallway to the left. To get to the Atrium Loft, take the elevator to the 3rd Floor. When you step off the elevator, the Atrium Suite (Atrium Loft, Elliott Bay Room, Salish Room) will be on the left and the Goodwin Library to the right. *Only accessible between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
Finding the Atrium Floor and Kitchen
The Atrium Kitchen is located on the ground floor of the Economy Building, on the corner of 1st Avenue and Pike Street. Enter the Economy Building at 1433 1st Avenue to the left of La Vaca.
Loading/Unload Options
Via 1st Avenue and Pike Street: Park at 1433 1st Avenue. Enter the Economy Building to the left of La Vaca. Take Elevator to 3rd floor for Atrium Suite rooms. Take Elevator down to Atrium level for kitchen load-in.
Via the Seattle Gum Wall in Post Alley: Enter at 1st Avenue and Pike Street, just left of the Information Booth. Drive down the Alley and around the corner. The Building entrance and elevator will be on your left. Take Elevator to 3rd floor for Atrium Suite rooms. Take Elevator to Atrium level for kitchen load-in.
