Editorial

Dear readers,dear customers,

„Success is a matter of adjusting one‘s efforts to obstacles and one‘s abilities to a service needed by others.“ (Henry Ford) We have won four readers‘ polls in well-known automotive magazines in 2014, in some cases for the fourth time in a row!

But even after four years in a row, these awards are not a matter of course for us, but a great honour and, at the same time, a great responsibility. Such a streak of success is no fluke, but is the reward for our work with you, our customers, day in, day out.

One thing we won‘t become after four titles in a row: smug and complacent. If we want to remain at the top, we must continue as before and throw ourselves into every day with passion and dedication. We want to inspire people together with you and continue to offer the ‚Made in Germany‘ quality that bestowed this good reputation upon us in the first place.

You can read about how we and our business friends have inspired and convinced people over the past few weeks in this edition: trade fairs in Switzerland and Algeria, motorsports in Qatar, Germany and Taiwan and further events in Portugal and South Africa are just a few examples for customer enthusiasm and ‚LIQUI MOLY-isation‘ on all five continents.

But even after four years in a row, these awards are not a matter of course for us, but a great honour and, at the same time, a great responsibility. Such a streak of success is no fluke, but is the reward for our work with you, our customers, day in, day out.

One thing we won‘t become after four titles in a row: smug and complacent. If we want to remain at the top, we must continue as before and throw ourselves into every day with passion and dedication. We want to inspire people together with you and continue to offer the ‚Made in Germany‘ quality that bestowed this good reputation upon us in the first place.

LIQUI MOLY is again the most popular oil brand in Germany!

Three polls, one result: LIQUI MOLY is the most popular oil brand in Germany. Every year three major German car magazines ask their rea-ders which brand of oil is best. Just as in the past year, LIQUI MOLY was the winner.

Three of the leading car magazines asked their readers for their opinion. The magazine „Auto Zeitung“ was the first. It asked its 620,000 readers to rate their personal top brands. In the category ‚Lubricants‘ LIQUI MOLY took first place - for the fourth year in a row. Followed by Castrol, Mobil and Shell. And in the car care product category LIQUI MOLY came in second.

The next poll was performed by the magazine „Auto Bild“ Their 2.6 million readers were requested to decide which brands were best. In the lubricant category LIQUI MOLY was victorious taking first place for the third year in sequence. Again LIQUI MOLY outpaced Castrol and Mobil. Here as well LIQUI MOLY also took second place in the car care product category.

In conclusion the magazine „Auto Motor und Sport“ published the results of their reader poll. 3.09 million readers we asked to name their „best brand“. The result for lubricants was also: LIQUI MOLY - for the fourth year in a row. Castrol and Mobil landed in the rear bleachers.

Finally, there was a title hattrick for LIQUI MOLY: for the third time in a row we have taken the prize for the best brand in the ‚Motor Klassik‘ readers‘ survey.

LIQUI MOLY is again the most popular oil brand in Germany!

The editorial staff of the car magazine awarded the winners of their annual readers‘ survey at Schloss Dyck near Düsseldorf. This prize completes the quadruple title. In the previous weeks, we had already come first in three other reader surveys.

The opinion of those surveyed was clear: 64.9 per cent of classic enthusiasts voted for LIQUI MOLY and thereby significantly improved on the result from the previous year!
