This series of photographs, known ever since as Picasso’s “light drawings,” were made with a small electric light in a darkened room(“A representation of light in a living world”)Picasso used common house paint in many of his paintings. Much of his painting was done at night by artificial light.

Pablo Ruiz y Picasso (25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973), one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century; is known for being a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright who spent most of his adult life in France.

Original PhotoCamera settings:- ISO – 600- F Stop 12- Shutter Speed = 6 Seconds

This image is my interpretation of Picasso's light drawings; this particular photo and style of photography really interested me and also inspired me to try and understand how such an image can be created and to also experiment with other photos.

Edited PhotoI edited this image in Photoshop, to get the image on the right, I changed the image to black and white in an attempt to emphasize the white light streaks, I also changed the saturation of the photo and increased it to get a sharper yet smoother focus on the light.
