PHYSICS INVESTIGATORY

Aim:-to compare viscosity of different liquids at a given temperature

Apparatus:-

1. Metre high cylindrical glass jar

2. Metre scale

3.Jumping ball

4.Screw Guage

5.Stopwatch

6.String

7.Different liquids

THEORY:-

PROCEDURE:-

1.850 ml of sugar solution was weighed and density was found out.

2. The jar was cleaned up and filled up with the sugar solution.

3. Two loops were tied around the lower part of glass tube 50cm apart one at 15 cm and other at 65cm.

4. A low density jumping ball was weighed and used for various calculations.

5. The timer was started when the ball reached the first string and stopped at second string.

6. Three readings were taken and then their mean value.
