3. SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO NOTIFY THE PRIME CONTRACTOR OF DISCREPANCIES OR CONFLICTS IN THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOUNDDURING BIDDING AND/OR PRIOR TO PERFORMING THE WORK.
4. EXAMINATION OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS.
A. EACH BIDDER SHALL EXAMINE THE BIDDING DOCUMENTS CAREFULLY, AND NOT LATER THAN SEVEN (7) DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF RECEIPT OF BIDS, SHALLMAKE WRITTEN REQUEST TO THE ARCHITECT FOR INTERPRETATION OR CORRECTION OF ANY DISCREPANCIES, AMBIGUITIES, INCONSISTENCIES, OR ERRORSTHEREIN WHICH HE MAY DISCOVER (REFER TO ARCHITECTURAL REQUIREMENTS). THE ARCHITECT WILL ISSUE ANY INTERPRETATION OR CORRECTION AS ANADDENDUM. ONLY A WRITTEN INTERPRETATION OR CORRECTION BY ADDENDUM SHALL BE BINDING. NO BIDDER SHALL RELY UPON INTERPRETATIONS ORCORRECTIONS GIVEN BY ANY OTHER METHOD. THE SIGNING OF THE CONTRACT WILL BE CONSIDERED AS IMPLICITLY DENOTING THAT THE CONTRACTOR HAS A THOROUGHCOMPREHENSION OF THE FULL INTENT AND SCOPE OF THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
5. PROVIDE A BASE BID WHICH SHALL INCLUDE ONLY SPECIFIED EQUIPMENT OR EQUIPMENT LISTED AS EQUIVALENT. NO SUBSTITUTIONS FOR THE LISTEDEQUIPMENT SHALL BE ALLOWED IN THE BASE BID.

16. ALL “CAPPED” SANITARY AND VENT LINES SHALL BE RECONNECTED OR RE-ROUTED AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT “DEAD-ENDS” IN THE PIPING. ALL PIPING SHALLDRAIN TO ACTIVE SANITARY WASTE LINES AND ALL BRANCHES WITH TRAPS SHALL BE ADEQUATELY VENTED.

18. WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED IN A WORKMANLIKE MANNER TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ARCHITECT, OWNER, AND ENGINEER.
19. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PERFORM HIS/HER WORK IN CONFORMANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE CODES, ORDINANCES AND LIFE SAFETY FEATURESAS REQUIRED BY LOCAL, STATE, OR NATIONAL AUTHORITIES. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY WITH THE ARCHITECT IF MODIFICATION OF HIS/HER WORK ISREQUIRED FOR COMPLIANCE.
20. 21. PAY FOR AND SECURE ALL REQUIRED PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS. PRIOR TO FINAL PAYMENT, TURN OVER TO ARCHITECT ALL CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION.
22. WARRANTY THE INSTALLATION AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP. THE WARRANTY SHALL BE FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR AFTER OWNER'SACCEPTANCE. DEFECTS SHALL BE PROMPTLY REMEDIED WITHOUT COST TO THE OWNER.
23. SUBMIT RECORD DOCUMENTS TO ARCHITECT. DOCUMENTS SHALL INCLUDE ALL ADDENDUM ITEMS, CHANGE ORDERS, ALTERATIONS, REROUTINGS, ETC.
24. SYSTEMS SHALL BE COMPLETE, OPERABLE, AND READY FOR CONTINUOUS OPERATION PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE BY THE OWNER.
25. SYSTEMS SHALL BE TESTED FOR PROPER OPERATION. PERFORM AT A MINIMUM ALL CODE REQUIRED TESTS OR SYSTEMS. IF TESTS OF WORK ARE DEFECTIVE,CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE CORRECTIONS NECESSARY AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO OWNER.
26. ALL MATERIALS AND/OR EQUIPMENT SHALL BE HANDLED AND INSTALLED AS PER MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS.
27. SUBMIT ALL MECHANICAL DIVISION SHOP DRAWING AND PRODUCT DATA AT ONE TIME. SUBMITTAL SHALL BE BOUND AND INDEXED IN A NEAT AND ORDERLYMANNER. PARTIAL SUBMITTALS WILL BE REJECTED. 34. DUCTS, PIPING, AND CONDUITS PENETRATING THROUGH ROOF SHALL HAVE ROOF FLASHING COMPATIBLE WITH THE ROOFING SYSTEM. SEE ARCHITECTURALDRAWINGS.
