Prep Enrolments 2016 All Queensland children are eligible to attend full-time Prep from the beginning of the school year in which they will reach the age of 5 years by 30 June. Children whose birthday is in July through to December commence Prep at the beginning of the school year after their 5th birthday. Ring the office on 5487 3333 to put your child’s name on the list or call into the office to see Vicki or Clair. The Prep information morning for parents who will b e enrolling their child into Prep in 2016 will be held on Thursday th e 19th November at 9.00am. Please bring your child’s birth certificate so we can make a copy. World Teacher’s Day This Friday the 30th October is World Teacher’s Day. The student council showed their appreciation for the Teachers of Kilkivan SS with a special presentation on Parade on Tuesday morning. I would also like to thank all the teachers we have on staff here at Kilkivan for the great job they do in educating and caring for our students. Triathlon Congratulations to all the students that competed in the triathlon at Tin Can Bay last Friday. You did a great job representing our school and we had some excellent results. FIRST AID COURSE

The First Aid course will be held on Tuesday 10 November at 3:30pm at the school. The full First Aid course is $110.00 and the CPR is $55 per person. Please ring the school on 5487 3333 if you wish to participate. Thanks Vicki and Clair

CENTACARE FAMILY & RELATIONSHIP SERVICES

This family mental health support service is a free Program for families and offers assistance to children and youth 0 to 18 years who are showing signs or are at risk of developing a mental illness and also assists family members and carers supporting someone with a mental illness.

Available to families in: Maryborough, Gympie, Kilkivan and Cooloola.
