The Church of holy Augustine in Intramuros, this year marks the 400th anniversary of its construction. Completed in 1604, becomes the oldest church in the Philippines stone.

In the town of Santa Barbara in Iloilo, this church was built in 1800. De Renaissance Baroque style. The structure requires simplicity and beauty. Its facade is neoclassical. Next to the church is the convent itself having reminiscent of Moorish architecture.

The church built in 1869 is made of limestone and stones abundant in its white coral coast. It has a three-storey bell tower and the ruins of the old convent on the left side.
