3. How to ensure that PIC data is correct
Occupying Units and Reducing Vacancies
• FY11 Goal: Increase number of occupied units from 36,852 (6/30/10 baseline) to 37,982.
• Our office exceeded the goal by 206 units, and had a total of 38,029 occupied units on 9/30/11.
• FY12 Goal: Reduce APG vacancies* from 9/30/11 baseline of 2,345 to 2,080. On 9/30/12 there were 1,905 APG vacant and 38,592 occupied units.
* APG vacant – vacant, court litigation, under-mod, natural disaster, market conditions, un-authorized, casualty loss, administrative use, and resident amenities.

PH Utilization FY2012
The Importance of PIC Data
• PHAS will include an occupancy score for MASS and CFP which will be calculated from PIC data.
• Operating Subsidy and Capital Funds will also be calculated based on PIC data.
Resolving Data Discrepancies
• Ensure that 50058s are accepted and all fatal errors are corrected.
• Monitor PIC reports – unit status change
detail and unit status report.
• If PIC data differs from HA data review 50058 submissions and error reports.
