Manny said in a recent television interview with GMA tv, that he liked their new Sarangani home, because it was well designed and comfortable. Manny and Jinkee Pacquiaos decision is final. The Pacman will fight one more big boxing match and then will retire. like having a meal without an entre. And Pacman is the entre. Bob Arum I am sure has heaved a sigh of relief and his best ward will be on the plane to New York tomorrow just in time for the sold out event.

And so continues the worlds fascination of the soft-spoken faith-filled gentleman from General Santos City. Not only has Time Magazine named him one of the worlds most influential people; Forbes magazine has listed him as one of the worlds top 100 celebrities. New York Examiner boxing maven, Michael Marley, known for his humorous columns, just admitted to his MP addiction. That is, he just cant help but keep writing about anything and everything Manny Pacquiao.

Clearly there continues a very strong take up larger numbers of passionate followers of the Pacman all over the world, and this is not going to abate, not for one moment, as the Pacman deliberates with his advisers who his next opponent will be and prepares for his next fight. Manny Pacquiao mania will yet crest in a historic fight that will be held sometime the last quarter of 2009, most likely against the winner of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez match that will be held in July.

This fight will be historic because the Pacman says it will be his last fight. He has a young growing family and he has expressed his decision to spend a great deal more time with them. He also wants to retire at the peak of his career, with his health intact. Wise choices for the man who would be Congressman and doting father to his four children.

In this last fight, especially if he ends up fighting with Floyd Money Mayweather, Jr., Manny will bring in the largest purse ever of his career. If Manny wins, he will cement his place at the very top of the pantheon of boxing greats. His name will be known throughout history as one of the best boxers who ever lived. Not a bad way to retire. If Manny wins the Congressional race in Sarangani province, then he is likely to keep his promise to his family and hang up his professional gloves forever. If not, all bets are off.

Mayweather, Jr., true to form, started trashtalking the Pacman since May and he hasnt even been chosen as the next opponent yet. If Mayweather ends up fighting Manny the last quarter of 2009, the whole world will be catching their breath, fighting tooth and nail for tickets. Pinoy Global Access will surely be there, and predicts trashtalker Mayweather doesnt stand a chance. The world has yet to see the Pacmans finest hour.

Keep reading Pinoy Global Access for the latest commentary and in-depth analysis on all matters Filipino on Manny Pacquiao.
