PFP Instrument Status • All PFP Instruments Except SWEA have been delivered, integrated, and tested; supporting environmental tests • Issues: – EUV alignment shims not flat • re-shimmed, CLOSED – SEP temperature sensor noise • Temp sensors relocated; now quiet, CLOSED – SEP Heater noise (from TAME) • Plan to shield heaters; works on EM, installed on FM this week? – MAG temperature monitor offset • Monitor temperature calibration updated. – Missing Time Update Counter • Spacecraft flight software fix planned – SASM/LPW timing offset • Phase difference identified (on PFP side) • Identified an operational fix, which works on EM but has not yet been tested on FM

PFP Instrument Status
• All PFP Instruments Except SWEA have been delivered, integrated, and tested; supporting environmental tests
• Issues:– EUV alignment shims not flat
• re-shimmed, CLOSED– SEP temperature sensor noise
• Phase difference identified (on PFP side)• Identified an operational fix, which works on EM but has not yet
been tested on FM
SWEA Status
• High Voltage Discharges and instability in Thermal Vac• Reworked instrument to stabilize over temperature and
reduce the risk of discharges and reduce the risk of damage should a discharge occur
• Instrument reassembled and in test:– Test in calibration chamber with high voltage, no issues– Vibrated, no issues– Tested again in calibration chamber, no issues– In thermal vacuum, no problem with first few cycles
• High voltage powered on Cycle 5 (2/19) with no problems– Post-environmental; calibration next week
• Pre-Ship Review Friday 3/1; Delivery to LM Monday 3/4, ready for integration after bench test, as soon as the afternoon of 3/5.
