• Patchwork House in Müllheim * The common and the individual, not next to each other as in traditional semi-detached house, but interlinked and interwoven. A house for two parties who want to live together under one roof, but at the same independent claim areas. The residential structure turns on the floors around a common hall. Both parties participate in all directions like tanning. The large hall that separates the ground floor of both areas and is used as a common recreation area, is turned on the first floor by 90 degrees and where he opened individual game rooms. Each party has its own staircase, each of which transforms in the opposite arrangement, a piranesisches spatial structure. The gable walls are made of single-masonry, the walls and roof surfaces in solid wood laminated timber construction. The roof and side walls form a complex air collector with transparent polycarbonate panels that form a layer of air controlled and secure storage along with the masses of the wooden walls of the primary care of the house with passive solar energy.
