Mission Segments Procession, Visitation & Interment Service
Details The family of PFC Grady Jack Crawford has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their loved ones faithful and honorable service to his Country by riding with him from DFW Airport to Restland Funeral Home and to “stand tall and silent” the following day at his visitation and graveside services. Riders will stage at the DFW Airport Police Station for the mission safety briefing. We will then await the arrival of PFC Crawford and prepare for the procession to Restland in Dallas. Upon arrival at the funeral home, riders will dismount and render honors as the Military Honor Guard moves PFC Crawford into the funeral home. Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed to be reconvened the following day, September 28th, for his final services.
Details Riders will stage at Restland Funeral Home for a short mission brief. There will not be a Part 3 to this mission as graveside services will be in the Memorial Park immediately after the visitation. Four Big Flag bikes will be selected to surround the coach during movement from the chapel to the graveside. At 1345 we will establish the Flag Line until approximately 1500. At that time, riders will re-position the flags to the graveside for the interment service. Riders will again establish the Flag Line to await the arrival of PFC Crawford, family and friends. After the service and at the direction of the MRC, flags will be returned to the support vehicle and riders will be debriefed and dismissed.
