“The house is not an object in the tradi- tional sence that is the end result of a process but more accurately a record of a process.” Peter Eisenman’s work has a very contemporary vibe to it. He uses a lot of clean-cut and uniform shapes throughout his buildings. On the outside of the buildings he tends to play with your head making you wonder how there could possibly be a space that functions well on the inside of this miraculous piece. The negative space he uses with his windows gives the buildings another perspective to look at. He also uses a lot of protruding shapes. Which cast interesting shadows through- out the buildings. When designing the structures he doesn’t just think of the aesthetics but the functionality of it.

“The house is not an object in the tradi-

tional sence that is the end result of a

process but more accurately a record of

a process.”

Peter Eisenman’s work has a very contemporary vibe to it. He uses a lot of clean-cut and uniform shapes

throughout his buildings. On the outside of the buildings he tends to play with your head

making you wonder how there could possibly be a space that functions well on the inside

of this miraculous piece. The negative space he uses with his windows gives

the buildings another perspective to look at. He also uses a lot of

protruding shapes. Which cast interesting shadows through-

out the buildings. When designing the structures

he doesn’t just think of the aesthetics but the

functionality of it.
