MANGO CROP REPORT Updated March 20, 2020 The National Mango Board (NMB) publishes the Mango Crop Report on a regular basis using information from industry organizations and other sources in an effort to provide the best available information on shipment projections, actual arrivals, variety and size availability, and other figures considered useful to the U.S. mango market. Although this information is updated regularly, changes can occur due to numerous factors at any given moment in time. Accordingly, the Mango Crop Report should only be used as a guide. Peru, Mexico and Guatemala Crop Information • EXPORTING REGIONS: Peru, Mexico and Guatemala are currently harvesting and packing. See pages 3-5, 6-7 and 8-9 respectively. • VARIETIES: There are currently three main mango varieties available in the market: Tommy Atkins (55%), Ataulfo/Honey (27%) and Haden (10%). There are also limited supplies of Kent and Manila. See pages 2, 4, 7 and 9. • SIZING: (Ataulfo/Honey: Large = size 16 and larger, Small = size 18 and smaller. Round mangos: Extra Large = 7 and larger, Large = sizes 8 and 10, Small = 12 and smaller.) • VOLUMES: Overall mango volume from week 12 to week 23 is expected to be 4% higher year -over-year, with arrivals expected from week 13 to week 24 Overall volume from Peru is projected to be 63% higher than last year. Volume from Mexico ( up to week 23) is projected to be 3% higher than last year. Volume from Guatemala is projected to be 1% higher than last year. See page 2 for total vol- umes, and pages 4, 7 and 9 for individual country volume. Week description (date) can also be found in pages 2, 4, 7 and 9. Mango volume shipped on week ending 3/14/2020 was approximately 1,877,445 boxes. • During the same week last year, volume shipped was approximately 1,956,592 boxes. Please note: U.S. entry ports report incoming mango volume on different schedules; some report daily and some weekly. This will cause discrepancies between the volume shipped from the source and the volume arrived at the U.S. entry ports in any given week. market. Although this information is updated regularly, changes can occur due to numerous factors at any given moment in time. Accordingly, the Mango Crop Report should only be used as a guide.
Peru, Mexico and Guatemala Crop Information • EXPORTING REGIONS: Peru, Mexico and Guatemala are currently harvesting and packing. See pages 3-5, 6-7 and 8-9
respectively.
• VARIETIES: There are currently three main mango varieties available in the market: Tommy Atkins (55%), Ataulfo/Honey (27%) and Haden (10%). There are also limited supplies of Kent and Manila. See pages 2, 4, 7 and 9.
• SIZING: (Ataulfo/Honey: Large = size 16 and larger, Small = size 18 and smaller. Round mangos: Extra Large = 7 and larger, Large = sizes 8 and 10, Small = 12 and smaller.)
• VOLUMES: Overall mango volume from week 12 to week 23 is expected to be 4% higher year-over-year, with arrivals
expected from week 13 to week 24
Overall volume from Peru is projected to be 63% higher than last year. Volume from Mexico (up to week 23) is projected to
be 3% higher than last year. Volume from Guatemala is projected to be 1% higher than last year. See page 2 for total vol-
umes, and pages 4, 7 and 9 for individual country volume. Week description (date) can also be found in pages 2, 4, 7 and 9.
Mango volume shipped on week ending 3/14/2020 was approximately 1,877,445 boxes.
• During the same week last year, volume shipped was approximately 1,956,592 boxes.
Please note: U.S. entry ports report incoming mango volume on different schedules; some report daily and some weekly. This will cause discrepancies between the volume shipped from the source and the volume arrived at the U.S. entry ports in any given week.

Peru Crop Information
• The Peruvian mango season began the third week of November (2019) and will run until the third week of March (2020) with a projection of approximately 19.5 million boxes.
• Peru’s main varieties are Kent (97%), Tommy Atkins (2%) and Ataulfo/Honey (1%). Volume on week ending 3/14/2020
• Volume shipped from Peru was approximately 129,028 boxes for a total of 19,477,038 boxes for the season. During the same week last year, volume shipped from Peru was 88,433 boxes for a total of 11,961,007 boxes.

• The Mexican mango season began the fourth week of January and will run until approximately the first week of October. Volume projections up to week 23 (ending on 6/6/2020) are expected to be approximately 40 million boxes.
• Projections after week 23 will be posted as soon as they are available. • Mexico’s main varieties are Kent (29%), Tommy Atkins (29%), Ataulfo/Honey (23%), Keitt (15%), Haden (3%) and
other (1%). Volume on week ending 3/14/2020
• Volume shipped from Mexico was approximately 1,641,065 boxes for a total of 5,614,789 boxes for the season. During the same week last year, volume shipped from Mexico was 1,584,799 boxes for a total of 5,596,903 boxes.

Guatemala Crop Information • The Guatemalan season began the third week of February and is projected to run until the first week of June with
a projection of approximately 3.4 million boxes.
• Guatemala’s main varieties for the season are Tommy Atkins (96%), Ataulfo/Honey (2%) and others (2%).
