A Strategic Choice
You may have corporate reasons for not identifying who tweets for the brand
Conversely, you may decide that doing so will communicate that behind the brand there are real people who want to join the conversation
If you choose to share the “who tweets for us” information, there are a few different ways
Just the Brand
One More with Just the Brand
One Named Person
More Than One Named
More Than One, with Initials(initials appended to tweets)
Details, with Initials, in Sidebar(Gaspedal 1)
Initials Appended to (Most) Tweets(Gaspedal 2)
Initials Included, not Used
Corporate Roles & Locations Specified
(+ initials displayed & used)
Zappos 1 – CEO Tony
Zappos 2 – Employees' Tweets
Zappos 3 – Employees Who Tweet(all 494 of them, ranked, twitterwise)
What's Your Corporate Preference?
a) Just the Brand ?
or
b) Brand with People?
(My bias - (b) – because it's social media)
And the Fancy Sidebars?
No biggy. Whoever does your web graphics should be able to do this.
But even if you have someone else to customize your Twitter page, check out Twitter's guide to the process (so you know how simple it is!) https://support.twitter.com/articles/15357
