ELECTRONIC DEVICES AS EDUCATIONAL TOOLS Students are permitted to bring their electronic devices to school. We embrace the potential that smart phones, tablets and computers can be used as a technological learning tools in the classroom . We encourage teachers to implement the use of technology where appropriate into their lessons. STUDENT DO’S AND DON’TS DO Secure your electronic devices at school by keeping them close to you or safe wherever you are. Set a passcode or password on them. Make sure they are charged before coming to school. Make sure they are set to silent in class, assembly, functions etc. DON’T Use your devices in class unless your teacher instructs you to. Photograph or record anyone else without their permission. Wear headphones unless your teacher says it’s ok to do so. Interfere with other student’s devices in any way. These are “personal” devices.
