O. U. Policlinico S.U.N. Her research activities, therefore, is directed to the topic of pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology.
From 2005 until 2017 she has worked as researcher; from April 2017 she is Associated Professor (SSD MED-50)
Since 2004, she is a member (pharmacologist) of the section of Clinical Pharmacology of Italian Society of Pharmacology; since 2015 she is secretary of the section of Clinical Pharmacology of Italian Society of Pharmacology.
Since 2010, she is a member pharmacologist of the Ethics Committee of the AOU SUN. She has been collaborating for many years with the National Institute of Health (National Center for Epidemiology, surveillance and health promotion).
Currently performs the following activities in the field of pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology coordinating the Regional Center of pharmacovigilance (Responsable Prof. Francesco Rossi) and the pharmacovigilance center of the A. O. U. Policlinico S.U.N.
Specifically, the pharmacovigilance activities are:
1. Participation in the national network of pharmacovigilance (Rete Nazionale di Farmacovigilanza - RNF);
2. Operational Coordination of pharmacovigilance activities in the Campania Region;
3. Training and information on pharmacovigilance;
4. Participation in a group of inter-regional pharmacovigilance (GIF);
5. Evaluation of adverse drug reactions (ADR) in relation to the national literature and international, with feedback (transmitted then the doctors beacons on the part of the managers of the network of pharmacovigilance);
6. Establishment of a database of ADR in the Campania Region;
7. Creation of a Forum to debate the pharmacovigilance between all the leaders of the pharmacovigilance network Regional;
8. Promotion of specific projects with other partners (Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco - AIFA, universities,etc.);
