The Scope of Perishables Procurement

Objective:Deliver a buyer’s workplace in order to efficiently support the role of a perishablesbuyer in the Distribution Center or Headquarter with tools and consolidatedinformation that is required to manage purchasing decisions for fresh produce acrossthe company.

Challenges:The perishables buyer’s workplace shall enable the perishables buyer to:

Manage perishable’s assortment - Define and adjust the perishables assortmentSelect perishable’s vendors - Decide what vendors will be selected to fulfill the demandSupport perishable’s buying decisions - Make qualified decisions in terms of quantity , sourceof supply, price and delivery date

Manage perishable’s distribution – allocate the ordered quantity to the demanding recipients

The Distribution List – Features

The Distribution L ist is the user interface for the definition o f the distributio n ofthe merchandise to the recipients

Overview of all the demands from the recipients and most important key fig ures(stock, open ord ers…)

Stock Transfer ord ers and Sales Orders can be created and changed

Recipients and prod ucts can be added and planned (in terms of d istribut ion) ondemand

The link between the Procurement List and the Distributio n List enables the

1. Define a quantity for distribution

2. Create Stock transfer orders out of Distribution List

3. Switch to procurement List and create external vendor orders on basis of the newly createddemands
