That energy sends people out with missionary zeal to all corners of the world, and it cannot simply be content to look inward towards a secure home. If Jesus doesn’t sound like a good recruiter, that’s because he isn’t just seeking a following for himself. Rather, he’s seeking followers on the path that he himself is walking. That path can be hard indeed. It can keep you restlessly on the move; it can call you to a new life’s work; it can lead you unflinchingly to death itself. Nevertheless, the path that leads to the kingdom of God is the way that leads to true life in fullness and abun- dance of the spirit. With that sort of path to look forward to, who can look back? A big thank you to everyone who helped to organise and supported our Cocktail

Party and Auction to raise funds for the Anglican Board of Missions.

Thank you to everyone who donated things to the refugee family Lucette Dillon has

been supporting. They have been much appreciated by the family.

Congratulations to Joshua Dillon-Price who has been accepted for Sacred Heart

College.

The new Archbishop of Melanesia, The Most Reverend George Takeli, will be visiting our parish on the 17th July along with Bishop Jim. They will be attending both the 8:00 am & 9:45 am services and there will be a shared morning tea between both services.

Our Kids’ Club is in desperate need of Walking School Bus helpers for Mondays and Fridays. If you can help, please contact Agnes in the Parish Office.

We would like to ask you to provide us with information you are happy to share regarding significant dates (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries) . Please email these dates to the Parish Office or write these on the list at the back of the church.

Just a reminder that if you are swapping your rostered duty with someone else to

contact either Helen or Liz and to let Stephen know if possible also.
