Telah dilakukan pengujian kebocoran sumber radioaktif tertutup di pabrik olefin di Cilegon. Kegiatan pengujian meliputi pengukuran pajanan radiasi gamma dan melakukan tes usap. Pengukuran pajanan radiasi gamma dilakukan dengan menggunakan survei meter Ludlum model 19, sedangkan tes usap dilakukan dengan menggunakan KIT tes usap kemudian sampel di analisis di laboratorium dengan spektrometer gamma menggunakan detektor HPGe. Dosis ekivalen dihitung berdasarkan hasil pengukuran pajanan radiasi gamma dan diperoleh nilai berkisar dari (1,42 ± 0,06) ~Sv/th sid (17,72 ± 0,77) ~Sv/th. Hasil pengukuran konsentrasi radionuklida 137Cs dalam sampel tes usap menunjukkan tidak terjadi kebocoran. Kata kunci : sumber radioaktif, kebocoran, dosis ekivalen. ABSTRACT THE LEAKAGE TEST OF CLOSED RADIOACTIVE SOURCE CONTAINERS AT OLEFIN FABRIC IN CILEGON. The leakage test of shield radioactive source containers at olefin fabric in Cilegon has been conducted. The test covered the measurement of gamma exposure rate and wipe test. Gamma exposure rate were measured by using survey meter Ludlum model 19, while the wipe test was done by using wipe test kit and the samples of wipe test were analyzed in laboratory using gamma spectrometer completed with HPGe detector. Equivalent doses that were calculated based on the result of measurement on gamma exposure rate were (1.42 ± 0.06) ~Sv/y to (17.72 ± 0.77) ~Sv/y. The result of 137Cs concentration measurement in wipe test samples was indicating that radioactive source containers were not leakage. Key words: radioactive source, leakage, equivalent doses. PENDAHULUAN Kemajuan teknologi dalam penggunaan zat radioaktif telah dimanfaatkan oleh beberapa perusahaan untuk sistem kontrol. Pabrik pembuatan biji plastik (elefin) di Cilegon memanfaatkan sumber radioaktif 137Cs sebagai bagian dari sistem kontrol dalam proses pembuatannya. Kegiatan pengujian meliputi pengukuran pajanan radiasigamma dan melakukan tes usap. Pengukuran pajanan radiasi gamma dilakukan denganmenggunakan survei meter Ludlum model 19, sedangkan tes usap dilakukan denganmenggunakan KIT tes usap kemudian sampel di analisis di laboratorium dengan spektrometergamma menggunakan detektor HPGe. Dosis ekivalen dihitung berdasarkan hasil pengukuranpajanan radiasi gamma dan diperoleh nilai berkisar dari (1,42 ± 0,06) ~Sv/th sid (17,72 ±0,77) ~Sv/th. Hasil pengukuran konsentrasi radionuklida 137Cs dalam sampel tes usapmenunjukkan tidak terjadi kebocoran.
