GENERAL INFORMATIONPendiPro 3.3 EC isaselectiveherbicideforcontrollingmostannualgrassesandcertainbroadleafweedsastheygerminate.Refer toTable 1 foracomplete listofcontrolledweeds.PendiPro 3.3 ECwillnotcontrolestablishedweeds.Unusuallycold,excessivelywet,orhotanddryconditionsthatdelaygerminationorextendgerminationoveralongperiodoftimecanreduceweedcontrol.Over-applicationcanresultincrop-standloss,cropinjury,orsoilresidues.Unevenapplicationorimpropersoilincorporationcandecreaseweedcontrolorcausecropinjury.Soilincorporationdeeperthanrecommendedcanreduceweedcontrol.Seedlingdiseases,coldweather,excessivemoisture,shallowordeepplanting, loworhighsoilpH,highsoilsaltconcentration, or drought can weaken seedlings and plants and increase the possibility of crop damage fromPendiPro 3.3 EC.Undertheseconditions,cropyieldscanbereduced.Table 1. 5. Thesprinklerchemigationsystemmustcontainafunctionalcheckvalve,vacuumreliefvalve,andlow-pressuredrainappropriately locatedon the irrigationpipeline topreventwatersourcecontamination frombackflow. Inaddition,systemsmustuseameteringpump,suchasapositivedisplacementinjectionpump(e.g.diaphragmpump)effectivelydesignedandconstructedofmaterialsthatarecompatiblewithpesticidesandcapableofbeingfittedwithasysteminterlock.
6. The sprinkler chemigation system must contain functional interlocking controls to automatically shut off thepesticideinjectionpumpwhenthewaterpumpmotorstops,orincaseswherethereisnowaterpump,whenthewaterpressuredecreasestothepointwherepesticidedistributionisadverselyaffected.
2. Chemigation systems connected to public water systems must contain a functional, reduced-pressure zonebackflow preventer (RPZ) or the functional equivalent in the water supply line upstream from the point ofpesticideintroduction.AsanoptiontotheRPZ,thewaterfromthepublicwatersystemshouldbedischargedintoareservoirtankpriortopesticideintroduction.Thereshallbeacompletephysicalbreak(airgap)betweentheoutletendofthefillpipeandthetoporoverflowrimofthereservoirtankofatleasttwicetheinsidediameterofthefillpipe.
Applications via Flooded Basin Irrigation SystemsPendiPro 3.3 ECmaybeappliedviafloodedbasinirrigationsystems,butonlytothefollowingcrops:nonbearingfruitandnuttrees,nonbearingvineyards,andalfalfagrownforseedproduction.Use Instructions and Precautions for Flooded Basin Irrigation1. PendiPro 3.3 EC may be applied through flooded basin irrigation systems designed to uniformly distribute
irrigation water along the soil surface. Solid set systems utilizing tall riser for overhead applicationareexcluded.
2. Follow all label recommendations for PendiPro 3.3 EC regarding rates per acre, timing of application, andcrop-specificrestrictionsandlimitations.

6. Tail water (runoff water) from flood irrigation that contains PendiPro 3.3 EC Herbicide should bere-circulatedandcontainedinthefieldofinitialapplicationorusedonlyonadjacenttreeorvinecropsoralfalfaforwhichPendiPro 3.3 ECisregisteredforthistypeofapplication.

Managing Off-Target MovementSPRAY DRIFTAvoidingspraydriftattheapplicationsiteistheresponsibilityoftheapplicator.Theinteractionofmanyequipment-andweather-relatedfactorsdeterminesthepotentialforspraydrift.Theapplicatorandgrowerareresponsibleforconsideringallthesefactorswhenmakingdecisions.Itistheresponsibilityoftheapplicatortoavoidspraydriftontonontargetareas.The following drift management requirements must be followed to avoid off-target drift movement from aerialapplicationstoagriculturalfieldcrops:1. Thedistanceoftheoutermostnozzlesontheboommustnotexceed3/4thelengthofthewingspanorrotor.
Wherestateshavemorestringentregulations,theyshouldbeobserved.Theapplicatorshouldbefamiliarwithandtake intoaccount the informationcovered intheSprayDriftReductionAdvisoryInformationpresentedbelow.INFORMATION ON DROPLET SIZEThemosteffectivewaytoreducedriftpotentialistoapplylargedroplets.Thebestdriftmanagementstrategyistoapplythelargestdropletsthatprovidesufficientcoverageandcontrol.Applyinglargerdropletsreducesdriftpotentialbutwill not prevent drift if applicationsaremade improperly or underunfavorableenvironmental conditions (seeWIND, TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY,andTEMPERATURE INVERSIONS).
CONTROLLING DROPLET SIZEVolume-Usehighflowratenozzlestoapplythehighestpracticalsprayvolume.Nozzleswithhigherratedflowsproducelargerdroplets.Pressure - DO NOT exceed the nozzle manufacturer’s recommended pressures. For many nozzle types, lowerpressure produces larger droplets. When high flow rates are needed, use higher flow rate nozzles instead ofincreasingpressure.Number of Nozzles-Usetheminimumnumberofnozzlesthatprovideuniformcoverage.Nozzle Orientation-Orientingnozzlessothatthesprayisreleasedparalleltotheairstreamproduceslargerdropletsthanotherorientationsandisrecommendedpractice.Significantdeflectionfromthehorizontalwillreducedropletsizeandincreasedriftpotential.Nozzle Type-Useanozzletypethatisdesignedfortheintendedapplication.Withmostnozzletypes,narrowersprayanglesproducelargerdroplets.Considerusinglow-driftnozzles.Solid-orstraight-streamnozzlesorientedstraightbackproducethelargestdropletsandthelowestdrift.
SWATH ADJUSTMENTWhen applications are made with a crosswind, the swath will be displaced downwind.Therefore, on the up anddownwindedgesofthefield,theapplicatormustcompensateforthisdisplacementbyadjustingthepathoftheaircraftupwind.Swathadjustmentdistanceshouldincreasewithincreasingdriftpotential(higherwind,smallerdroplets,etc.).
WINDDriftpotential is lowestbetweenwindspeedsof2 to10mph.However,many factors, includingdropletsizeandequipment type,determinedriftpotentialatanygivenspeed.Applicationshouldbeavoidedbelow2mphdue tovariablewinddirectionandhighinversionpotential.NOTE:Localterraincaninfluencewindpatterns.Everyapplicatorshouldbefamiliarwithlocalwindpatternsandhowtheyaffectspraydrift.
TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITYWhenmakingapplicationsin lowrelativehumidity,setupequipmenttoproducelargerdropletstocompensateforevaporation.Dropletevaporationismostseverewhenconditionsarebothhotanddry.
TEMPERATURE INVERSIONSApplicationsshouldnotoccurduringa temperature inversionbecausedriftpotential ishigh.Temperature inversionsrestrictverticalairmixing,whichcausessmallsuspendeddropletstoremaininaconcentratedcloud.Thiscloudcanmoveinunpredictabledirectionsduetothelight,variablewindscommonduringinversions.Temperatureinversionsarecharacterizedbyincreasingtemperatureswithaltitudeandarecommononnightswithlimitedcloudcoverandlighttonowind.Theybegintoformasthesunsetsandoftencontinueintothemorning.Theirpresencecanbeindicatedbygroundfog;however,iffogisnotpresent,inversionscanalsobeidentifiedbythemovementofsmokefromagroundsourceoranaircraftsmokegenerator.Smokethatlayersandmoveslaterallyinaconcentratedcloud(underlowwindconditions)indicatesaninversion,whilesmokethatmovesupwardandrapidlydissipatesindicatesgoodverticalairmixing.
General Tank Mixing InformationPendiPro 3.3 ECmaybeappliedinatankmixorasequentialapplicationwithotherherbicidesregisteredforuseinagivencrop.RefertothecompanionlabelforweedscontrolledinadditiontoPendiPro 3.3 ECalone.Whenusing tankmixturesorsequentialapplicationswithPendiPro 3.3 EC,alwaysread thecompanionproductlabel(s)todeterminethespecificuseratesbysoiltypes,weedspecies,andweedorcropgrowthstage.Inaddition,followallprecautionsandrestrictionsincludingstateandlocaluserestrictionsthatmayapplytospecificproducts.Alwaysfollowthemostrestrictivelabel.
Uses with Other Products (Tank Mixes)IfthisproductisusedincombinationwithanyotherproductexceptasspecificallyrecommendedinwritingbyIAP,thenIAPshallhavenoliabilityforanyloss,damage,orinjuryarisingoutofitsuseinanysuchcombinationnotsospecificallyrecommended.IfusedincombinationrecommendedbyIAP,theliabilityofIAPshallinnomannerextendtoanydamage,loss,orinjurynotdirectlycausedbytheinclusionoftheIAPproductinsuchcombinationuse,andinanyeventshallbelimitedtoreturnoftheamountofthepurchasepriceoftheproduct.AlwaysperformamixingtesttocheckthecompatibilityofPendiPro 3.3 ECwithallpotentialtankmixpartners.
Mixing Instructions1. Fill tank 1/2 to 3/4 full with clean water or liquid fertilizer and agitate. Prior to mixing PendiPro 3.3 EC or
