after its current leadership

curriculum. The initiative

will allow pharmacy students

across the country to

experience the same

groundbreaking leadership

training as those at OU.

that maintained the integrity

of OU and the College of

Pharmacy were needed to

launch the effort.

To increase healthcare services to its

communities and realize new revenue,

the Preferred Family of Hospitals

engaged in an integrated marketing/PR

campaign for its long-term care program

that provides “Healing Close to Home”.

The internal professional development

plan increased staff knowledge and buy-

in of the program. The external

campaign increased external awareness

among target audience groups.

Results: Across the six rural hospitals, patient days more

than doubled from 61 to 146 in nine months. Patient days

peaked at 169 and never dipped below 100 days.

Brochures were created to strategically place and

disseminate throughout the communities and for

inclusion in marketing packets to physicians and

discharge coordinators in nearby urban hospitals.

Hydronic Systems, a manufacturing representative, needed a more reader-friendly way to inform its

nearly 30 manufacturers about its marketing plan to market all of its manufacturers to the specific

audience groups recommending or purchasing their equipment, parts and service. This brochure is

used for talking points during presentations and a leave behind.

Water Worx for Hydronic Systems

The marketing plan called for launching an electronic newsletter to audience groups that would

promote the quality HVAC equipment the company represents and the latest in HVAC

technology. With a better understanding of Hydronic Systems marketing plan, manufacturers

enthusiastically contribute to the news shared with clients monthly in Water Worx.

90-Day Introduction Plans are essential to a

new physician’s success. Though the use of

billboards, direct mail, earned media,

advertising and open house, Dr. Horner was

scheduling nearly 50 patient visits per week

within a month’s time.
