PROJECT RATIONALE

• Change status from IKIP to UNJ in 1999: Status and roles, greater number of applicants, new study programs;

• Almost 43 years consistently manage 7 Faculties, Graduate School, 34 Departments, 85 Study Programs offering Diploma, Bachelor, Master, and Doctor with 59,354 alumni;

• Has significant contribution to educational development at the local and national level;

• Sets up to becoming a prominent provider for teacher certification and professional teacher training center (Act no 14/2005);

• Prepares for its institutional reform to be an Entrepreneurial University

Contingency is dedicated for the purpose of emergency condition.

BENEFITS OF THE PROJECT1. Total number of applicants who are interested in studying the

undergraduate program (S1) at UNJ increases significantly from 23.050 participants in 2004 to more than 110.000 (2014).

2. The early childhood laboratory is now becoming a national benchmark for other higher education institution.

3. A number of new study program at master level are offered to the society since the implementation of IDB project.

4. GPA of students improves gradually during the implementation of IDB project.

5. UNJ revenue increases significantly from IDR 95,130,028,295 in 2009 jumps to IDR 264,969,981,520 in 2015 (increases 178.5% in 6 years or around 30% per year)

6. A number of study program is accreditated better due to having good academic infrastructures.

7. A number of lectures who receive IDB fellowship program actively stimulates conducive academic atmosphere in their study program and even at faculty level.

8. The stakeholders perceives positively about UNJ’s Brand image.9. UNJ’s institution accreditation is A since July 201510. Total number of alumni increases from 59,354 in 2008 to 101,171 alumni

in 2016
