PELICAN  KIDS  CLUB  _________________________________________________________________________________

Amathus  Hotels  pay  special  attention  to  their  little  VIP  guests  and  are  making  extra  efforts  to  upgrade  their  existing  children  facilities  for  all  children  between  4-­‐12  years  old.  Children  less  than  4  years  old  should  be  accompanied  by  an  adult.   A  dedicated  and  professional  team  of  experts  is  available  to  provide  all  below  services  which  will  comply  with  all  security  and  safety  regulations.    Guests  are  able  to  request  in  advance  various  daily  needs,  and  these  can  be  provided  from  the  hotel  upon  arrival  and  charged  to  their  room  account.  For  any  additional  requirements  during  clients’  stay,  our  Souvenir  Shop  is  able  to  accommodate  every  request.    

 UPON  RESERVATION    

• A  children’s  Requirements  Form  is  provided  by  our  Reservations  department  to  all  families                  as  soon  as  a  booking  is  confirmed.  This  form  should  be  completed  and  forwarded  to  our                  Reservations  department  at  least  one  week  prior  to  the  arrival  of  the  guests    

•  Special  attention  is  given  to  special  dietary  requirements  of  the  children  or  allergies,  if  any    

•  This  form  is  also  available  online    TRANSPORTATION  TO/FROM  AIRPORT  TO  THE  HOTEL    

• If  the  family  requires  a  private  taxi  transportation  from  the  airport  to  the  hotel  and  vice        versa,  then  Amathus  Hotels  can  provide  free  of  charge  a  car  seat  for  the  child,  if  requested  in  advance.  

 UPON  ARRIVAL  /  CHECK  IN    

• All  information  regarding  children’s  facilities,  activities  program  and  dining  option  will      be  provided  by  our  Guest  Relations/Receptionists  

• An  envelope  with  welcome  letter,  the  Kids’  Activities  program  and  all  above  information                  will  be  given  to  all  families    IN  THE  ROOM  /  ACCOMMODATION    

• A  fruit  juice  is  offered  to  all  children  upon  arrival    

• A  healthy  chocolate  bar  is  offered  to  all  children    

• Children’s  slippers  and  bathrobes  are  available  in  all  rooms  (upon  request)    

• Amenities  in  bathroom:  Small  size  of  baby  bath,  baby  shampoo,  baby  powder  and  baby    lotion  of  a  well-­‐known  brand  (on  request,  at  a  cost)    

• High  Chairs  in  room  are  available  upon  request  –  free  of  charge        

KIDS’  CLUB    

The  Kids’  Club  is  staffed  with  properly  trained  personnel  and  includes  a  TV  set  ,area  with  small  tables  and  chairs  for  painting  and  colouring  activities  ,  high  quality  toys  and  play  equipment,  ball  pit  with  plastic  balls.    

All  children  are  registered  upon  arrival  at  the  Kids’  Club  and  are  given  a  rack-­‐sack  with  a  surprise  gift  inside  after  registration.      

OUTDOORS  ACTIVITIES  AREA    

A  covered  outdoors  activities  area  is  available  with  high  quality  outdoor  games.  Supervision  of  the  parents  is  required  in  this  area.    

Our  Kids’  Club  and  the  outdoors  activities  area  fully  comply  with  all  safety  and  security  rules  according  to  EU  regulations.

MEALS  FOR  CHILDREN    

All  children  staying  at  the  Amathus  Hotels    enjoy  a  special  children’s  buffet  or  kids  à  la  carte  menu  for  lunch  and  dinner  for  children  up  to  12  years  inclusive.      

One    refreshment  per  child  is  also  offered  with  our  compliments.      

TIME-­‐OUT  FOR  PARENTS  (BABY  SITTING)    

Baby  Sitting  is  available  during  evenings  so  that  parents  are  able  to  enjoy  their  dinner  or  their  drink  at  the  bar.  Baby  Sitting  is  available  at  a  cost.  A  24-­‐hr  notice  is  required.    

EVENING  ENTERTAINMENT  FOR  KIDS    

Depending  on  the  period  and  the  number  of  children  in  the  hotel,  our  Animation  Team  offers  Kids’  entertainment    

OPENING  DATES  &  TIMES    

Timeframe:  10.00-­‐19.00  hrs  (opening  hours  vary  depending  on  the  hotel  program)  • From  June  till  end  of  September  • During  school  half  terms  • During  the  rest  of  the  year:  whenever  the  children’s  occupancy  level  justifies  it  

All  of  the  above  services  are  subject  to  the  number  of  children  staying  in  the  hotel.
