• He oversees other engineers that work for the city.

• He is responsible for reporting anything that needs to be repaired such as sidewalks, building infrastructures, etc.

• He must also know and understand the building codes and regulations.

Administers, enforces, and interprets the building code.

Director of Public Works, Eddy Jowers

• The head of the Department of Public Works.

• The Department of Public Works is responsible for keeping streets safe, maintaining street signs, putting flags out on holidays, mowing grass, picking up tree limbs, traffic light maintenance, and animal control.
