Preface
How to Use This Manual The manual describes how to configure your PEB-3632VL2A system to meet various operating requirements. It is divided into four chapters, with each chapter addressing a basic concept and operation of Embedded Board Computer. Chapter 1: Introduction. This chapter presents what you have in the inside of box and give you an overview of the product specifications and basic system architecture for this model of single board computer.
Chapter 2: Hardware Configuration Setting. This chapter shows the definitions and locations of Jumpers and Connectors that you can easily configure your system.

Chapter 1 Introduction Manual Objectives
This manual describes in detail the Portwell PEB-3632VL2A Embedded System Board. This manual aims to provide all necessary information to users who may interest in using all PEB-3632VL2A’s functions. Please be aware that it is possible to create configurations within the CMOS RAM that make booting impossible. If this should happen, clear the CMOS settings, (see the description of the Jumper Settings for details). We strongly recommend that you study this manual carefully before attempting to alter PEB-3632VL2A’s configurations. In the case, something in this manual is not clear or users have any suggestion on this manual. Contact our Customer Service department with the relevant details. Introduction
PEB-3632VLA is Portwell’s answer to the growing embedded computing market. This Intel 815E based embedded system platform provide innovative, low power consumption, high quality Compact sized embedded computing board to wide range embedded application. The board is based on Intel 815E chipset and low power Intel Tualatin LV Pentium III and ULV Celeron processor, running at 800/933Mhz (Pentium III) with 133Mhz FSB or Celeron 400/650Mhz with 100Mhz FSB make PEB-3632VL2A to be the highest performance board in low power embedded system board arena. The Intel 815E that integrate AGP 4X graphic with CRT/Panel display (DVI) support function enable Portwell’s PEB-3632VLA to provide most versatile and multi-media performance rated embedded system solution for both Multi-media transaction terminal/POS/POI or high performance network appliance in the market.
All in all, PEB-3632VL2A was designed to meet compact size and durable embedded computing application. Not only for network equipment or Internet appliance but also for those man-machine interface for Industrial control, Medical and transaction terminal that need LCD support or Multi-media computing platform.
