A Christmas Thank-you!
On behalf of the Parish, I would like to thank
all who made the celebration of the Christmas
Season a blessing and an inspiration. To
those in our music ministry, our organist and
music director, Fran Donahue, choir directors,
Joan Stoker, Peter Winnewisser,
Sue Rinaldo, cantor Nick Ziobro and last but
not least the great voices of all the choirs,
THANK YOU. Your time and your gifts are
forever vital to every liturgy at St. James.
To our Ushers who welcomed and seated
parishioners and visitors and assisted in
keeping things comfortable and organized,
your watchfulness and commitment are
greatly appreciated.
Finally to our Sacristans, who set up and
clean up the church after every Mass, to the
Altar Servers, Lectors and Eucharistic
Ministers and to those who gave of their time
to decorate the Church so beautifully, THANK
YOU for adding to the spirt of the season.
Father Kevin

9th Graders – TODAY!
Sunday, January 8th is your super awesome retreat! After the 11 a.m. Mass we will enjoy a catered lunch from Dave’s. We have a fun theme planned and our guest speaker will be Fr. Chris Ballard from the “Other” St. James in Syracuse. Fr. Chris is one of our youngest, most dynamic pastors in the Diocese. We are so lucky he can join us! The retreat will
end at 2 p.m.

Our 4th Grade Faith Formation Class knows the true meaning of Christmas. The "Box Project" usually sends shoe boxes filled with items to children in need overseas, but our students wanted to keep it local and make a personal connection. They, along with the help of their parents and Faith Formation teachers, collected items, wrote cards, and decorated the shoe boxes for 4th Graders at Bellevue Elementary in Syracuse! Each one of our students were assigned a student from Bellevue and filled the boxes for
their buddy. They wrote personal letters and the classes will keep in touch throughout the year! The kids from Bellevue along with their teacher Miss Lee were so grateful and touched by the kindness of our students. Thank you to all of our 4th grade students, parents, and our teachers Karen Stanford, Sheila Talbot, and Jay LeBarre.
