Global Lesson Plan Using the CATA Global
Lesson Plan Template provided, teachers will submit ONE Lesson Plan to be stored on the Virtual Faculty Meeting Web Page during their appointed month.

Article Highlighting CATA GlobalizationAs a department, teachers
will work together to write an article on highlighting any global activities for their assigned month. The article can contain their department highlights and/ or school wide accomplishments.

Logistics A schedule is attached with the dates for
departments and academies to submit information to Deb Christensen.
Teachers should email their global lesson plans to the Department Chair.
The Department Chair will email lessons and article to Deb by the first Friday of the month.
She will upload them onto the Virtual Faculty Meeting page.
Virtual Faculty Web Page Once uploaded, teachers can log in to
the webpage and look over the global lesson plans and articles.

Why? We are a Global International School.
We need to meet certain criteria following the Globalization Rubric to continue that distinction.
Our School Improvement Plan states we will incorporate global initiatives.
Our individual Professional Development Plans must contain a globalization component.
Why? Evaluation Tool and Artifacts. The following
standards can be met in the distinguished category if you participate fully in the activities. (14 total)

Each submission onto Virtual Faculty Meeting Web page counts as an artifact as well as collecting the questions you answer.
