GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL FINANCE (AUDIT) DEPARTMENT 325, SARATCHATTERJEEROAD, NABANNA, HOWRAH-711102 No. 7245-F[P]!FA!O!2M!214!17[NB] Howrah, the 24th Nov., 2017 MEMORANDUM The casual/daily rated/contractual workers who are engaged in terms of Finance Department Memorandum No.9008-F[P], dated 16.09.2011, are entitled to an amount of Rs.2 lakhs as one time benefit on account of cessation of engagement on attaining the age of 60 years as per Finance Department Memorandum No.1007-F[P], dated 25/02/2016. • Payment of such benefit to the family of such casual/daily rated contractual worker who dies before attaining the age of 60 years had been under active consideration of the Government for some time past. After careful consideration of the matter, the undersigned is directed by order of the Governor to say that the Governor has been pleased to order that in the event of death of casual/daily rated/contractual workers who were engaged following due process delineated under No.9008-F[P], dated 16.09.2011, before attaining the age of 60 years, the legal heirs of such casual/daily rated/contractual workers shall be paid an amount of RS.2lakhs as one time death benefit. The appoi, .ting authority concerned will allow the benefit from their end. The order will be deemed to have taken effect from 01.03.2016. MEMORANDUM
The casual/daily rated/contractual workers who are engaged in terms of Finance
