Hispanic executives of Fortune 500 and/or HACR corporate member companies gathered in Dallas, TX for the HACR
Corporate Executive Forum (CEF) first annual meeting. The CEF provided a unique opportunity to discuss business issues, challenges, solutions, and the opportunity to network with peers throughout Corporate America and with corporate directors.
“I thought the meeting was a great start to formulating the purpose and vision of the CEF. It was also a tremendous opportunity to network with both our colleagues and board members. I am honored and excited to be a part of this vital initiative and look forward to working with everyone to move forward,” said Rod Sierra, VP, Integrys Group.
2009 HACR Corporate Executives ForumWork began on the CEF in late 2006. The initiative was formalized and adopted as a “legacy” project by the 17 corporate directors who participated in the inaugural HACR Corporate Directors Summit held in May 2008 in New York City.
Seizing on the momentum, the CEF was officially launched in June 2008. The energy among corporate directors, corporate executives and HACR staff during the past year led to the HACR Corporate Executives Forum annual meeting.
“I went because of HACR and I am thrilled I did. It was an amazing, historic, and terrific gathering,” said Lisa Quiroz, SVP, Time Warner Inc. “Looking forward to the next one!”
The Corporate Executives Forum is modeled after the highly successful and influential Executive Leadership Council (ELC). The ELC is the nation’s premier leadership organization comprised of the most senior African-American corporate executives in Fortune 500 companies, representing over 250 major corporations.
The second annual HACR Corporate Executives Forum will be held next year in San Francisco, CA.
