fundraising in an effort to increase awarenessabout womens and girls issues especially in the

developing world

McGill Students for UN Women

National Committee Canada! We have collaborated with over ten clubs including V-Day,

End Poverty Now, and IGSF. We have helped promote theirevents as well as provided volunteers for their various events.

! Not only works to raise awareness about gender disparitiesabroad, but it also works locally to empower women inQuebec. We focus on issues from advancing gender roles incorporate positions to alleviating feminized poverty andhomelessness.

! There has never been UN Women presence at McGill beforeand we helped fill this gap in the McGill community
