PC Free Smart Class

PC Free Smart Class has been designed to greatly simplify the hardware used in our government

schools and empower the teachers to use these very easily and regularly.

This is a single equipment Smart Class with either a Smart TV, a projector, or an Interactive Flat

Panel Display with a pen drive plugged in and pre-loaded with off-line digital content.

Teachers can operate it with a remote or touch, just like they comfortably use their TV at home.

With a custom designed Learning Platform, teachers can comfortably navigate the platform, search

the appropriate content and use the system offline to supplement their classroom teaching.

All usage reports are recorded and synced to a central project dashboard for CSR teams, state

government officials, PMUs and NGO coordinators to continuously measure the project

impact.

We bring together the best of different categories of enjoyable digital learning content on a

single platform to suit all types of teaching styles. Teachers can use these different forms of

content to supplement their teaching with a lot of student interactions and fun in the classroom.

The content is customised as per project requirements. We offer digital content in English, Hindi

medium and various local languages aligned as per CBSE and all major State Boards.

The content works offline with no internet dependence.

The English and Hindi medium digital content can be custom aligned as per CBSE or any State

Board. In Local Languages, we offer best of OER content structured as per State Board

Syllabus. Coverage of grades is subject to availability.

Based on project requirements, we can also provide multilingual digital content, so that there is

an option to switch the language and students can learn in any medium.

We have designed our learning platform in a manner that any type of additional content,

features and reporting requirements can be customized and delivered completely based on the

learning requirements of the target student beneficiaries with below possibilities.

A. Multimedia Videos

Animated videos with real life connect designed to teach concepts. These are available in

English, Hindi and any other local languages as per requirement

B. Activity Videos

Easy, do-it-yourself activities which teachers and students can use to create experiments and

build models using materials easily available around them. This greatly enhances the practical

knowledge and scientific temper of students with fun.

C. Digital Course Books

NCERT or State Syllabus Books

Designed for holistic learning, the digital library also has a collection of books from other

categories - stories, poems, comics, arts, literature, moral values, inspirational biographies and

much more. Available for all local languages

D. Assessments

MCQ style topic wise Practice questions are provided which teachers can use in the classroom

for a very interactive experience and also to get a sense of student’s understanding on the

topic. A corrective feedback is provided with every question to encourage teachers and

students to discuss the approach of attempting any question.

E. Notes

for a quick revision available in English medium for Maths & Science (class 6 to 12) and

Commerce (class 11 and 12). Can be used by the teachers to help students revise the concepts,

specifically useful before the exams.

F. Practical Videos

for an inside lab experience (Class 9 to 12). Step by Step, these videos can be used to

experience a simulation of experiments that students would physically do in their respective

labs. Can be used by the teachers to prepare their students better before entering the actual

lab.

4. Offline Reports with Periodic Sync to a central cloud based reporting dashboard for Management, Monitoring and Evaluation

All usage reports are recorded, saved offline on each device and periodically synced to a cloud

based reporting dashboard. This facilitates anytime, anywhere monitoring by the members of

the monitoring committee, government officers, CSR team, NGO coordinators and any other

stakeholder.

5. Teacher Training with ongoing support

Experiential training is conducted for teachers covering all aspects of the smart class,

navigating the platform, roles of each content category, how to best use the content with

students, how to see the reports and basic know-how on the maintenance.

Once training is over, the schools are connected to our support teams. There will be a

dedicated telephone helpline number to provide schools with all hardware and content support.
