perfectly covers you without any spillage or extra room. Then, use the measuring tape to measure around the underbust,

which is where your bra band would lay.

Store Indya aims at revival of Indias rich cul-tural heritage of arts and crafts and bring to

you a wide collection of products which translate the beauty of traditional Indian

handicrafts into contemprary life. Most importantly with this venture we

seek to promote and support the priceless talent of Indian artisans, by providing them

an international platform to display their timeless talent for the glory and recognition,

which they richly deserve. Store Indyas products are internationally

avaliable on multiple online platforms like Amazon and Ebay.Our constant e�ort is to achieve complete costumer satisfaction by

o�ering the best product and quality.

This project was during a month long internship at Store Indya in June 2015.Located in Bombay, Store Indya is a venture that manufactures handicrafts and home decor. It aims at translating the beauty of traditional Indian handicrafts into

contemporary lifestyle.

Craft scenes replace religious epics.Painted with pen on cloth and dyed

in vegetable colours.

Kalamkari Hase ChittaraThe Deewaru tribals and Adi

Dravida communities in Shimoga District practice mural paintings called Hase Chittara on festivals.

Pahari MiniatureThe early phase of pahari miniature painting is famous for its simplicity

and strong colour palette. The art borrows the stylistic

convections of the Basohli and Chamba styles.

A contemporary rendering of traditional Mithila painting in a new palatte of colours reflects

the fertile soil and the hand spun silk of Bihar with a touch

of humour

Warli art is carried out in homes on festivals by Warli tribal. Cow dung, terracotta

and lamp black with triangular human forms in

characterize this ancient art

PatachitraA contemporary expression of Nanak paintings which link the earthly with the divine show a

Created in the Mewar art style, courtly scenes and the working lives of the simple rural crafts people are

depicted in the manner of courtly miniature paintings and Picchwais

PicchwaiesThe art form is a combination of art and craft. Painted in the rich silded Thanjavur style, it uses the typical haldi kum kum colours with certain

sections in relief.

ThanjavurWomen in many homes practice a ritual art form called jyonti. The Aipan tradition of Almora is also

used to decorate places of worship and sections of interiors.

JyontiJharna Patachitra scroll paintings are part of the wandering artist bard’s accessories in rural Bengal. The

Kalighat style of illustartion displays the evolution of this tradition.
