In the Spring of 2006 I had the opportunity to work with the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley Komatke Branch in taking part in painting “BIG CHIEF” Russel Moore. In honoring Mr. Moore (GRIC) hosted an event in Chandler, Arizona at its new Rawhide Facility.>

“BIG CHIEF” Russel Moore was Pima from the Gila River Indian Community. He also played the Trom-bone and toured with Sinatra across the U.S. with him and his band.
