Paula is a Director and founding member of Paula Barrett Properties. She has a wealth of knowledge in her field and has over 20 years of experience in the Irish property market. Paula believes in a straightforward, professional and personalised approach. She strives to ensure that each and every client she works with, whether they are vendors or developers, enjoy a truly outstanding experience. Prior to establishing Paula Barrett Properties, Paula worked most recently in Corcoran Jennison Limited as a Senior Property Manager, Valuer and Surveyor. She was responsible for the letting and management of a large portfolio of residential and mixed-use developments. Paula is experienced in understanding the significant issues affecting a property’s performance. She has the ability to analyse problems, creatively develop solutions and implement these solutions to generate immediate long lasting results to maintain the asset. Paula is a member of the Irish Property & Facility Management Association and the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute, and an associate member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Paula sits on the panel for Friarylaw as a Mediator, and also sits on the Skillnet training committee in the Irish Property & Facility Management Association. GERRY HARGADON, Director Gerry is a Director and founding member of Paula Barrett Properties, and boasts an accomplished sales, leadership and business background, during a professional career spanning over a third of a century. He has strong commercial business acumen and the demonstrated ability to understand and support the resolution of issues. A straightforward communicator, Gerry has highly developed negotiation skills. He has been involved with finance and fundraising for more than 30 years, during which time he has worked in several fields including film, real estate and property development, as well as start-up ventures. Gerry has been instrumental in the success of Splash International Properties, an overseas real estate development. He has spearheaded the company’s growth, procuring tens of millions of Euros in investment capital for property developments in Europe, South America and South Africa since 2006. Gerry is results driven, embraces and instigates change and constantly challenges the norm. He has amassed an in-depth knowledge of both the residential and commercial property markets. PATRICIA CRISP, Consultant MBA, Dip Proj Mgmt, BA (Mgmt), FSCSI, FRICS, MIPFMA. Patricia Crisp is a Chartered Surveyor, holds an MBA in Real Estate and Construction from the University of Reading and has completed the Certificate and Diploma exams leading to the designation Chartered Director from the Institute of Directors. She has held twelve non-executive and one executive Directorship, chaired three professional bodies and has been Company Secretary in three companies. In addition she has completed the Director Development Programme at the IOD Centre for Corporate Governance at UCD and is a qualified assessor for the SWIFT designation for companies in Corporate Governance. During the last ten years of her career she has mainly been involved in advising clients on property investments and developments, acquiring sites or buildings for private, institutional and corporate clients, obtaining funding, overseeing and project managing the development or refurbishment of the sites, advising on contracts and leases. She has set up and been a Director of three companies: Corcoran Jennison (Ireland) Ltd., a Housing Association (which was not finally implemented due to economic downturn), Global Housing Ltd., and a property management company in Poland to provide asset and property management services to Irish developers operating in Poland which she profitably sold in 2005.
