You can best prepare by starting your learning now! Each issue of the newsletter will have a brief assignment to prepare you for the training you will receive in March. To enroll in the sessions you will need to have a MyRotary account established. Please log into www.rotary.org/myrotary and register for an account if you haven’t done so already. This is a critical step and you will use this site often as a club leader.
Rotary International REQUIRES all incoming Presidents to attend President Elect Training. The
focus is on Rotary knowledge and leadership skills. Rotary knowledge is necessary to avoid
constantly reinventing the wheel, to participate in projects with others around the world, to obtain
ideas from others, to learn how projects and activities work, to understand the philosophy and principles of Rotary, to learn from the greatest
variety of peoples ever assembled in one organization, and to become part of a team.
Who should attend PETS?
All Incoming Rotary Club Presidents 2019-2020 AND all Assistant Governors. We strongly
encourage all Presidents-Nominee 2020-2021 to attend as well with a special program designed just for you. Our clubs who are strongest are sending both their Nominee and Elect to best
prepare for the upcoming year and to work as a team.
