Triangle Frenzy Quilt Patterns specialise in empowering individuals of all experience levels with the confidence to create fabric art by using our easy-to-follow design and instruction.

Quilting projects designed by Bunnie Cleland, a long-time crafter and sewing artist who’s business started by accident when she arranged some triangles into a quilting project. High demand for her patterns by quilters resulted in the global distribution of Triangle Frenzy.

Laurie Shifrin is a designer from the lush Pacific Northwest of America, where her love for colors and textures found in nature is constantly fed and nurtured. Although she enjoyed her former career as a professional violinist, this phase

of Laurie’s life has been the most creative and rewarding.

Laurie has authored three books, using primarily batiks. The latest, Batik Gems, is with C&T Publishing. Her pattern company, Laurie Shifrin Designs,

showcases 19 new designs.

I attended my first Quilt Market in Kansas City in spring of 2002 with a line of Penny Rug patterns. I began designing fabric in about 2003 and my love of working with wool led to designing a line of flannels that look like wool called “Woolies”. I’ve published books with Martingale and Quiltmania as well as self publishing a few. Over the years I have designed hundreds of patterns for quilts and penny rugs as well as a few for cross stitch. My latest line of patterns features preprinted background fabric that is included in the patterns. I’m very thankful to be working in an industry that I love and

being able to share my ideas and love of all things textile.

Michele Hill...Keeping the genius of Morris alive

Michele was introduced to the wonderful world of quilting in the 1980’s when she was looking for a diversion from her role of motherhood and part-time nursing – the rest as they say is history! This hobby led her to amazing opportunities that she never expected and it is through her love of applique and the British designer William Morris (1834-1896) that most of

this came about.

A raffle prize of airfares to Europe in 1997 resulted in a life-changing event. This is where she had her first William Morris ‘experience’ at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. When she came home to Adelaide she discovered that the Art Gallery of South Australia has one of the biggest collections of Morris furnishings outside of the UK. In 2009 she retired from 35 years of nursing and took up a ‘new career’ - to keep the “genius of

Morris alive”.

Opportunities to share her passion have resulted in two William Morris Applique books, four ranges of Morris inspired fabrics with In the Beginning fabrics and six sold out William Morris tours in the UK in collaboration with

Whitecroft Tours.
