ECUADOR DUEÑO DE PATRIMONIOS
MUNDIALES
• La capital del Ecuador fue declarada
Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1978,
año en que la UNESCO hizo su
primera selección de los sitios que el
hombre debe proteger como parte de
su memoria.
• The capital of Ecuador was declared a
World Heritage Site in 1978, the year
he made his first UNESCO site
selection that man must protect as part

QUITO
• Las islas Galápagos fueron
declaradas Patrimonio Natural
de la Humanidad en 1978 y
seis años después reserva de
la Biosfera. Este un grupo
relativamente joven de ínsulas
fue originado por diferentes
erupciones volcánicas que
hicieron emerger picos de
hasta 5.600 metros de altitud.

GALÁPAGOS

la Humanidad en 1983.Con una
amplia extensión de tierra,
518,000 hectáreas, el Parque
Nacional Sangay, abarca una

paisajes y ecosistemas, que se

de la Humanidad en el mundo. La
UNESCO la reconoció el 1 de
diciembre de 1999. Motivo por el
que es indispensable recordar por
qué fue declarada patrimonio
mundial.

Inscrito en 2008 sobre la Lista
Representativa del Patrimonio Cultural

El pueblo zápara vive en una región de
la selva amazónica situada entre el Perú
y Ecuador. Afincados en una de las
regiones del mundo más ricas en
biodiversidad, los záparas son los
últimos representantes de un grupo
etnolingüístico que comprendía muchas
otras poblaciones antes de la conquista
española.

Manifestations of Zápara Inscribed in
2008 on the Representative List of the
Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity
(originally proclaimed in 2001) Countries:
Ecuador, Peru Zápara The people live in
a region of the Amazon rainforest located
between Peru and Ecuador. Based in
one of the world's richest regions in
biodiversity, the Zaparo are the last
representatives of an ethnolinguistic
group that included many other
populations before the Spanish conquest.

CULTURALES DEL PUEBLO ZÁPARA
• El “Tejido tradicional del sombrero de paja toquilla ecuatoriano” es un nuevo reconocimiento de Patrimonio de la Humanidad con el que cuenta el Ecuador, título concedido por la UNESCO, que el 5 de diciembre de 2012 incluyó a esta manifestación, que se ha mantenido durante siglos, dentro de la Lista Representativa del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad.

Heritage in counts Ecuador,
title awarded by UNESCO, the
