Read presentations online: Opening Day 2014. Making a difference The Hicks Family has established the Tyler Hicks Memorial Scholar- ship Fund. The goal of this scholar- ship fund is to provide a $5,000 scholarship for four consecutive years to a deserving student athlete or member of the athletic support staff. As a kick-off, a BBQ dinner fea- turing Coach Hicks BBQ and bris- ket will be held August 16 th at Scott County High School. The reception will begin at 6:00pm and the meal and entertainment at 6:45pm. Tickets can be purchased for a do- nation of $25 per person with all proceeds going to the scholarship fund. Kids 12 and under are free. Send a check made payable to The Cardinal Sports Club, Inc to P.O. Box 68, Georgetown, KY., 40324, or drop off at any participating Whitaker Bank location in Georgetown or Lexington or at Gal- vin’s Restaurant in Georgetown. There is still time to register for the Finley 5K to benefit SIDS aware- ness and prevention. Visit www.active.com, pre-registration rates available through August 12 th .
