SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH Our Mission Statement The Eagle Rock Seventh-day Adventist Church is an accepting, growing family of caring Christians seeking to become more like Christ. We do this by: Reaching up to worship God, our Creator, Sustainer and Friend. Reaching in to support each family member and equipping and involving them in ministry according to their gifts. Reaching out to those who have not heard about and those who have wandered away from Christ’s unfailing love. COMMUNION

Today we have the honor of celebrating Communion in remembrance of what Christ did on the cross on our behalf. The Seventh-day Adventist faith practices an open communion, and as such, all

members and all guests are encouraged to participate and receive the blessing of the Lord’s

Supper. Let’s prepare our hearts to receive the gift of grace anew.

“For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This

is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup,

saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

I Corinthians 11:23-24
