Davis | Executive Pastor Susan Cranor | Ministry Assistant to Executive Pastor Dear Church at the Mall Family and Welcomed Guests: W elcome to worship on this Labor Day weekend Sunday! Today we are doing something unique: showing the short film, “Defining Moments,” produced by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. is is in preparation for our November 2013 REACH 1 opportunity. We as a church, along with churches of all sizes and denominations, will use this film in small group meetings in multiple locations as a way to share the Gospel with the unsaved. We viewed this film in our Connect Group Leadership Summit, and I was deeply impressed by how it moved our leaders. e more I prayed, the more I sensed God leading us to show this today in our Worship Services. I think most of us will agree that this is one of the most powerful outreach tools ever! Two ings I Pray Will Happen Today 1. at many come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. If you brought an unsaved loved one, friend, neighbor, or co-worker, there is great likelihood that they will come to know Jesus Christ today. If they do not, a seed will be planted in their hearts that the Holy Spirit will use to get their attention. 2. at hundreds of our members will commit to being “Matthews” and will host a Reach Group with the purpose of sharing Christ with those who need to be saved. Today I am asking you to commit to being a “Matthew” by hosting a Reach Group. For more information, please go to ChurchAteMall.com/myhope. ere are fresh winds of blessings on our church. e baptistery is stirring continually. New members, especially younger people, are joining our church. Connect Groups are growing. Our 11am Worship Service is “on the grow.” Our 9:30am Worship Service is filling up. I could go on and on, but the one thing that excites me the most is the atmosphere of anointing on our church! May we continue to do everything necessary to experience God’s anointing. Planting New Connect Groups I want to reach out to the leadership of our Connect Groups, especially the groups that are close to or have reached capacity. I am asking you to plant new Connect Groups. We know that new Connect Groups reach new people. New Connect Groups grow faster. New Connect Groups raise up new leaders. New Connect Groups allow us to connect with those that we might have missed otherwise. So, I am asking our Connect Group leaders to commission some of their most effective leaders and send them out to begin a new Connect Group. All Church Prayer Meeting on Saturday, September 14 from 10am to Noon It is my conviction that one of the biggest reasons we are experiencing the hand of God on our church is because we fasted and cried out to God on Easter weekend. We will have another opportunity on Saturday, September 14 from 10am to Noon. We will gather in the Worship Center for a time of corporate prayer followed by a prayer walk throughout our campus. en we will gather again for another time of prayer together. I am asking you to make this a priority. is is a sacrifice of your time and of your Saturday morning for the purpose of seeking God with all you have. Nothing is more important than prayer! I am convinced that those who genuinely desire revival will make the utmost effort to be present if at all possible. Church, I love you and thank God daily that I get to serve as your Pastor.
