Father Dandi’s Connections
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plan for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and
a HOPE" (Jeremiah 29:11)
Once again we are assisting Father Dandi with a shoe collection for
the sugarcane worker families of Central Manapla and surrounding
Haciendas on the Island of Negros Occidental, Philippines.
Collecting Shoes–We will be collecting new or slightly used ath-
letic shoes & work shoes, preferably in children and smaller adult
sizes. Please, no snow shoes (boots), high heels, etc.
Shipping–For the 2017 shoe drive, we must collect funds to pay for
the shipment of the shoes. It costs a little over $1 per pair of shoes to
ship them to the Philippines or approximately $65-$75 a box.
Deadline is August 1 at your individual church.
Shoes will be shipped in August, 2017 so as to arrive in the Philip-
pines by the end of the year!
Stay connected with what is going on with this Mission and many more activities/events, by going to
‘Father Dandi’s Connections’ Facebook page and hitting the ‘LIKE’ tab.
There will be a box in the back
of the church for you to drop
off the shoes. If you need any information, see Scott or
Paula, Cele, Dustin & Amanda or Tim &
Jessica.
