Revelation 2:4–5 (ESV) But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. 

FAITH:  Testing by time

FAMINE:  Testing by trials

FLESH:  Testing by temptation

How to stay and not slide:

1. Be Confident:

Pro 14:26 “In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge 

Heb 3:14 “For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.

2. Dress right:

Ephesians 6:15 (NLV) Wear shoes on your feet, which are the Good News of peace. 

3. Stay humble Proverbs 16:18 MSGFirst pride, then the crash— the bigger the ego, the harder the fall.

4. Follow the Light

1 John 1:7 If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin

Psalm 17:5 Uphold my steps in Your paths, that my footsteps may not slip

Psalm 18:36 You enlarge my path under me, so my feet did not slip
