Input Device• Enters data INTO the computer.

Mouse

Moves the cursor and selects things

Keyboard

The keyboard lets type in letters, numbers, and symbols.

Webcam• Records and sends video & sound

through the Internet.

Scanner

It makes a copy of the object that is placed on it and sends the into the computer.

Output Device• Processes data coming OUT of the

computer.

Monitor

Shows pictures & videos coming out of the computer.

PrinterPrinters make a copy of your work on paper.

Storage Device• Lets you SAVE data.

CPU/Hard DriveThe hard drive is the brain of the computer where you save most of your work.

USB or Flash Drive

A USB (or flash drive) is a portable storage device used to save any form of data.

CD-Rom Drive

The CD-Rom Drive is used to play CDs or save to CDs.

CD or DVD

Contains the information to run a program or save data like music, images, or videos.
