Are you on your way to the top in Climb for Cash contest?
For AIM-sponsored speedskater J.R. Celski, his dream took more perseverance, determination, and support than he could ever have imagined. But it all paid off with an experience of a lifetime and two medals at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
J.R. came to Vancouver not knowing how he would hold up in terms of physical and mental preparation. In fact, he was not even supposed to be back on skates after a terrible accident at September’s Olympic Trials. He was not supposed to be able to compete in the Olympics. He was not sup-posed to advance out of the heats. He was not supposed to medal.
But he did medal, exactly five months and one day after the accident that nearly ended his career.
In the Olympics’ first weekend, J.R. took to the ice in the 1,500-meter race – one of the premier events at the Winter Games and J.R.’s strongest distance. He made it through the qualification rounds and into the final where he skated alongside U.S. teammate Apolo Anton Ohno and a trio of talented South Korean skaters.
J.R. kept his cool at the back of the pack for the majority of the race, biding his time
until an opportunity presented itself. His opportunity came on the last lap when he and Ohno took advantage of a spill by two of the Korean skaters. Ohno and J.R., skat-ing in fourth and fifth positions, watched as South Korea’s Lee Ho-Suk crashed on the final turn, taking out Korean teammate Sung Si-Bak in the process. Ohno and J.R. skated
past to capture silver and bronze, respectively.
In the thrilling after-math of the finish, NBC announcer Andy Gabel captured J.R.’s moment perfectly: “J.R. Celski
goes from just hoping to be alive, now he’s at the Olympic games, now he has an Olympic medal. What an amazing finish.”
Two weeks later, on speedskating’s final night, J.R. earned his second medal of the Games with a clutch performance in the 5,000-meter team relay. J.R. skated strong throughout the relay (prompting Gabel to comment, “That’s J.R. Celski; look how fast he’s going!”), but he and the three other American skaters – including Ohno – found themselves in fourth place late in the race, trailing Canada, South Korea, and China. On the penultimate leg of the relay, J.R. pushed the U.S. team onto the medal stand – liter-ally – when he passed off to Ohno, shov-ing his teammate ahead of the third-place Korean skater. Ohno maintained third place for the final two laps of the race, helping J.R. earn his second medal of the Olympics.

the ice would offer both challenge and opportunity.
About 15 months later, in July 2003, when the International Olympic Committee an nounc ed the 2010 Olympics would be held in Vancouver, the deal was sealed. J.R. declared to his mom and me that he wanted to be there. The Celski Family Project took root. Within four months of that declaration, The AIM Companies™ picked up J.R. as a spon-sored athlete and has backed him ever since.
Over the next several years, J.R. made quite a name for himself on the short track speedskating circuit, including a successful run with the senior U.S. team in 2009. His performance at the Olympic Trials – even
though it was cut short with injury – was more than enough to earn him a place at the Olympics. And only five months after his injury, J.R. landed in Vancouver with the U.S. Olympic team. He made it – he was now no longer an
“Olympic hopeful.” He was an “Olympian!”The excitement overwhelmed J.R. For the
next week, he and the U.S. short track team practiced on the ice at the Pacific Coliseum, the venue for the Olympic short track
“J.R. is the miracle of these games,” said Larry Daignault, one of the U.S. coaches. “No one knows like me what he went through to be on the podium.”
J.R. also had a chance to medal in the 1,000-meter race, but he was disqualified in the semifinal round on a questionable call for interference with another skater.
The coverage of J.R. at the Olympics and in the weeks leading up to the Games rou-tinely came back to his amazing recovery from a life-threatening injury at September’s Olympic Trials. At the trials, J.R. took a nasty spill during a race and suffered a deep cut in his left leg. As he was rushed to the hospital, my wife Sue called AIM Members to see what AIM products would be best to hurry the healing process and help him recover. And the day after surgery, J.R. was drinking AIM LeafGreens® that I had mixed up for him. Only five months later, J.R. was stand-ing on the podium at the Olympics.
J.R.’s Olympic dream had been eight years in the making. In February 2002, 11-year-old J.R. watched short track speedskating in the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Already a decorated inline skater with mul-tiple national championships and records under his belt, J.R. was ready for something new. He thought that taking his talent to

competition. His first race occurred eight days later.
But first, J.R. fulfilled another dream. At the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games, J.R. marched in the very front row of the U.S. team, with NBC cameras singling him out before any-one else. A photographer friend of the family, Jerry Search, captured the TV image and per-fectly described what he saw on J.R.’s face: “I’m here, I have won!”
For the next two weeks, the Celski family par-ticipated in the Olympics from every standpoint. Most fulfilling was the fact that we were able to share this lifetime experience with our loved ones: family and friends who were somehow involved in the Family Project along the way.
Our oldest son Chris spent two weeks in Vancouver. Our son David, an Army First Lieutenant, and his wife Brittney were able to be with us for nine days. Both grandmas, Betty and Penny, were in attendance, as were most of J.R.’s aunts, uncles, and cousins, and our closest family friends. Having the games occur less than a three-hour drive from our home was such an advantage.
No event of this magnitude can be accom-plished without a solid logistical plan: where to stay, how to get around, meal planning, a com-fortable place to meet our loved ones coming in for the events.
Luckily, we had a connection right at the doorstep of the games! Our close friends, AIM Chairman’s Club Directors Ken and Lanny Donald completely opened up their home to us in Surrey, British Columbia, which made an easy start point to our activities. With warmth and hospital-ity, our every need was taken care of. For 17 days, we turned the Donald home into our “Operations Cen-ter,” laptops tak-ing over the dining room, bags strewn around the house. What a joy it was being with the Donalds. I really enjoyed my daily
sessions with Ken reviewing the previous day’s Olympic highlights.
AIM Director Anitra Donald became our “Transportation Coordinator,” constantly driving us to the nearby Sky Train. She was truly duty bound – picking us up as late as 1:30 a.m. Anitra also gave us expert guidance and directions when we drove into the city.
Thanks to the Proctor and Gamble Family Home, we had a place to meet our loved ones in the heart of Vancouver. They offered the families of Olympians the comforts of home, meals, and other amenities. It is here we spent much of our time meeting and entertaining, even celebrating two birthdays! We could not have done it without P&G.
Of course, J.R. did more than his part to ensure we all had a memorable experience at the Olympics as well.
For me, it was an experience of a lifetime. Watching my son beaming twice with arms raised, a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a medal around his neck, with Olympic music blaring while on the world stage – what could be better? I guess the only thing better is having my family participate in the Family Project that allowed my son to fulfill a childhood dream.
Editor’s note: The AIM Companies extends its heartfelt congratulations to J.R. and family. AIM Members and AIM staff from around the world proudly watched J.R. compete in the 2010 Winter Games. AIM Canada’s General Manager Rose Bird and
Janice Chan; AIM Chairman’s Club Directors Ken and Lanny Donald and Daryl and Betty Hicks; and AIM Directors Anitra Donald and Jensina Donald were in attendance to cheer J.R. on in person.

The four nutrient-dense leaves that compose AIM
LeafGreens® – spinach, faba bean, field pea, and barley
– contain a wealth of nutrition benefits. Director Karen
Chan, from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada,
believes that fighting Parkinson’s could be one of them.
“All Parkinson’s patients should know about LeafGreens,”
Karen says. “My relative has suffered from Parkinson’s for
over a decade. About a year ago, she was at the maximum of
her medication, and the doctor admitted there was nothing
else to do. She was in her wheelchair and couldn’t even move
to help herself sit up in a more comfortable position.
“I introduced her to LeafGreens. She reluctantly tried it.
After about two canisters, I
already witnessed her
improvement. Right now,
she can move around
her home without the
help of her cane.”
Karen credits
the L-dopa from
the faba bean leaf
in the LeafGreens
formula as having the biggest benefit to Parkinson’s
patients. And researchers agree. L-dopa is known
as the gold standard for treating Parkinson’s disease
due to its ability to restore the depleted supply of
dopamine in the brains of Parkinson’s patients. In
particular, L-dopa is effective against rigidity and
slowness and significantly improves the quality of
life for Parkinson’s patients.
Did you know? Quercetin, a flavonoid with
a variety of therapeutic uses and benefits,
occurs naturally in LeafGreens but is found
in a synthetic form in most supplements.
The synthetic form of quercetin is not water
soluble, and therefore its consumption pro-
vides no meaningful benefits. The natural
quercetin in LeafGreens is more bioavail-
able and absorbable.

Slow down the hands of timeBy Mitch Clarke, AIM Group Builder, Canada
In October of 2009, I laid my dear dad to rest. My father had so many serious health issues. His vision was impaired by glaucoma, which required the regular use of eye drops. He had a quadruple bypass at 75 and went through dialysis three times a week for four hours. Deterioration of the cartilage in his knees made even walking painful, so he was unable to do any exercise. Eventually, his legs had to be amputated due to a poor circulation. Although my dad had physiotherapy twice a week, he was never able to walk with prosthetic limbs.
As for me, I had a heart attack at the age of fifty. I certainly did not want to end up with numerous health issues like my father. Even though I had a positive attitude about life, I wasn’t taking care of my health. Job stress kept me from doing any exercise, even walking. I wasn’t eating well because I was always on the go. I wasn’t relaxed because I was too stressed by the challenges I faced. After the heart attack, everything changed.
I started to get some exercise by going for walks. I made healthy changes in my eating habits. I learned how to relax. And I changed my job. Then AIM entered my life.
I found out about AIM from Ron Wright, the company’s president. Years ago, Ron came to hear me preach at the church where I was an associate pastor, and he never forgot me. In 2009, we were reunited through a mutual friend, and Ron invited me to join AIM.
Wanting to live life to the fullest, my wife Debbie and I learned about the prod-ucts and the income opportunity by having information sessions with Rose Bird, general manager of AIM Canada, at the Vancouver office. We immediately started taking 70 percent of the AIM products.
I have become convinced of their long-term effectiveness and have enjoyed the new-found liveliness that comes from taking AIM Peak Endurance® and AIM BarleyLife® along with a freedom and ease of movement from AIMega® and AIM Frame Essentials® as I exercise. Thrilled with these results, I have talked about my positive results with family and friends, and they have begun using AIM products as well.
On a final note, I remember a love song written by R. Kelly called “If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time.” I’ve made changes to the following sampled lyrics:
How did I ever let my health slip awayNever knowing I’d be singing this song some dayAnd now I’m sinking, sinking to rise no moreEver since poor health closed the doorIf I could turn back the hands of timeThen my darlin’ health you’d still be mineIf I could just turn back that little clock on the wallThen I‘d come to realize how much I love being strong. If I could turn back the hands of time
I know that I cannot turn back the hands of time, but I can slow down those hands so I will enjoy my health through the future.
“AIM has given me financial stability, freedom to spend more time with my family, and the oppor-
tunity to help others wherever I go,” Royal Emerald Director June Poswiata says.
June, a weight loss coach and nutrition educator in her hometown of Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada, started with The AIM Companies™ in March of 1993 and has spent nearly two decades improving the lives of those around her. She is very active in her church, business, and community, and she is a mother of three and a proud grandmother of five.
“By encouraging others that they don’t have to be sick, I have something incredible to share with them,” says June, who counts AIM LeafGreens® and AIM ProPeas® among her favorite products. “With the AIM products, it is a sure win.”
A key to June’s success is following up with those she comes in contact with. Keeping in touch has been an effective way for her to grow her AIM business, espe-cially through regular monthly meetings that she hosts.
“I believe follow up is very important, and when people see how much you really care about them, they tell others,” June says.
“I have a file box, and I make a card out for each Member, customer, and cli-ent, with their name, phone

number, and any personal information that they have shared with me so I can always make conversation when I re-call them.”
The most important lesson that June says she can teach new Members is the principles of USSBT – Use the products, Share the products, Sponsor others, Build strong relationships, and Teach others to do the same. As part of the USSBT model, June also encourages new Members to be purposeful in following up and to always leave home with AIM product and business information to share.
June puts USSBT into practice in a number of different ways through her home business. She works out of her home so that she can always be on call and available for those who need her. She also spends time on the phone, calling Members in her downline who are near promo-tion (she checks her downline online) and phoning Members who have not ordered recently. Despite the busy schedule, June makes sure to take time for herself, allowing one day off each week for her to do the things she likes to do.
“I am able to work independently from my home with the freedom to work when I want to and being able to travel with AIM to beautiful places each year that I never dreamed possible,” June says. “The AIM Companies™ and the staff are always there for me and willing to help. I so appreciate the AIM family. They are a very important
part of my life.”June is also grateful for the assistance of
AIM Canada General Manager Rose Bird, Chairman’s Club Director Dr. John Shewfelt, Chairman’s Club Directors Muriel and George
McPherson, Chairman’s Club Directors Edna and Hilton Smith, and
many others in June’s upline.

Pain and swelling of wasp stingssubside with Cell Wellness Restorer™
In August 2004, I was working in my yard, and I reached
into the flowerbed to pull out some dead leaves. I dis-
turbed a wasp’s nest, and the angry wasps attacked my hand.
I had several wasp bites on my hand. It began to throb with
pain and started to swell.
I went running into the house and asked my husband
Pete (the skeptic veterinarian) to get a bottle of AIM Cell
Wellness Restorer™. We stood at the sink as Pete poured the
Cell Wellness Restorer over my hand; I rubbed it in, and the
pain and swelling immediately subsided.
Seeing is believing, so Pete could not doubt what he
had seen with his very own eyes. He made the com-
ment that wasp stings always itch later, but mine never
did. A landscaper was here working at the time, and
after witnessing this, he purchased a bottle of Cell
Wellness Restorer.

Born between the years 1946 and 1966, the aging
Baby Boomer generation has grown into the
Silver Tsunami. As recently as five years ago,
Baby Boomers made up more than 25 percent of the United
States population. The demographic is huge, and it has
reached an age when AIM products can be a big benefit.
Although in today’s economy many continue to work
beyond the age of retirement, the majority of seniors have
reached a time in their lives when the focus is on enjoying
the fruits of their labor. Traveling, gardening, golfing, and
other such leisure activities become part of the daily rou-
tine. The most fortunate of the Silver Tsunami are those in
good health. And those who have made AIM products an
essential element of their daily routine know that they hold
an anti-aging key for maintaining their good health.
Instead of reaching for prescription drugs, the use of
which is high among seniors, Silver Tsunami AIM Members
take whole food supplements and natural health products
that help to support healthy cells, prevent the onset of age-
related illnesses, and provide the energy and vitality that
you rarely see inside a senior care facility.
Prevention The AIM Garden Trio® (AIM BarleyLife®, AIM
Just Carrots®, and AIM RediBeets®) and AIM Herbal
Fiberblend® provide a solid foundation for preventing
health problems with a group of products that detoxify,
cleanse, build, and energize. These products and more can
be purchased in various combinations as Starter Packs for
all AIM Members. Choose the combination of products
that best suits your needs.
AIM LeafGreens® offers another source of greens that
is particularly rich in vitamin K. Research published in
The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition indicates that
higher intakes of vitamin K may prevent age-related con-
ditions such as weak bones and hardening of the arteries,
which increases the risk of cardiovascular disease. Vitamin
K deficiency is linked to an increase in the incidence of
spontaneous cancer.
Strong BonesCalciAIM™ contributes to healthy bones, cartilage,
teeth, and gums with its blend of ingredients including bio-
available calcium (98 percent absorbable), magnesium, and
vitamin D. Breaking or fracturing a bone is a serious health
matter when you reach a certain age, and healing takes a
long time. Keep your bones strong with two servings of
CalciAIM daily.
Your body gets even more benefits from calcium as this
essential mineral is necessary for proper muscle contrac-
tion, especially the heart.
Strong Heart Heart disease and stroke are the leading causes of death
and disability in North America, so common sense says to
do everything you can to keep your heart beating and your
blood circulating.
The AIM Heart Health Starter Pack contains four
heart healthy products that support a strong heart and
uninterrupted blood flow. AIM CellSparc 360® provides a
supplemental source of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), the nutri-
ent that creates the initial spark of energy in every one
of your cells, and in particular, heart muscle cells, which
have the highest energy requirements. AIMega® supplies
omega-3 and -6 essential fatty acids (EFAs) that work at
the cellular level as essential, anti-aging nutrients for cell
growth, function, and repair. The heart health benefits
from Omega-3 and -6 in AIMega® include improved circu-
lation, healthy blood pressure levels, and a reduced risk of
heart disease. AIM fit ’n fiber® contains 12 grams of fiber,
10 of which are heart-healthy soluble fiber. High soluble
fiber intakes are associated with lower cholesterol, reduced
blood pressure, and lower risk of coronary heart disease.
AIM CellStar™ Pomagrape contains a blend of superfruits
and extracts that are loaded with antioxidants and may help
improve blood flow and cardiovascular strength.
Clear Mind & VisionMemory loss and poor vision do not have to
be part of getting older. AIM GinkgoSense®
combines ginkgo biloba leaf extract, bil-
berry fruit extract, fish oil, and marigold
extract (lutein and zeaxanthin) to provide a
wealth of nutrients that help to improve your
circulation, boost mental acuity, and support
healthy vision. Defend yourself against the
aging process with GinkgoSense.
AIM’s powerful pair of AIM ProPeas® and AIM fit ’n fiber® can help you shape up for summer. If you are looking to
lose weight and live healthy, the Lean Team is your solution. Group Builder Shannon Jones from Springfield, Oregon,
gave the Lean Team a try, and she has been amazed at the results.
“In August, I started using AIM LeafGreens® and changed my way of eating. In about three weeks, I had lost 12 pounds.
I then added AIM Herbal Fiberblend®, and I dropped more weight.
“Family and friends were really notic-ing a change. My internal conditioning coach, Director Judy Rowe, had me then add ProPeas and fit ‘n fiber to my regimen. In three-and-a-half months, I was down 33 pounds. I went from a 3X to a size 16. I still have about 50 to 60 pounds to lose, but I know I can do it with my AIM products and with Judy’s help.
“I just turned 49 years old, and I am starting my countdown to ‘50 and fabulous!’ My goal is to lose 50 to 60 pounds by my 50th birthday. Each month, I am planning fun and exciting things to do like cross country skiing, whitewater rafting, hik-ing, sky diving, water skiing, and so on. I truly know I couldn’t be doing these things without my AIM products. I have so much more energy than ever before. My three sons cannot believe it. I feel I am truly coming alive!
“Also, I have been able to go off of my hormone replace-ment and Zoloft medications.
“Thank you so much for your amazing products. I am now full of life and ‘AIMing’ high.”
What a difference healthy eating habits and AIM nutrition can make.
Shannon’s commitment to whole-food nutrition played a big role in her amazing weight loss story. The four-leaf formula in AIM LeafGreens contains nutrients like kaempherol, which helps with arteriosclerosis. Herbal Fiberblend is an unbeatable colon cleanser, helping the body to assimilate nutrients and eliminate waste.
Add to those products the weight loss power of the Lean Team, and you have a healthy weight loss option that produces real results.
Shannon benefited from the fiber boost of fit ’n fiber and the healthy protein in ProPeas. fit ‘n fiber contains 12 grams of fiber, 10 grams of which are heart-healthy soluble fiber. Not only can soluble fiber help lower levels of LDL-cholesterol, it reduces appetite, providing a feeling of fullness that helps limit overeating. In addition, the high fiber content in fit ‘n fiber supports a healthy diet and exercise lifestyle.
ProPeas, a vegetable protein concentrate, complements a healthy weight loss routine in a number of different ways. Like fit ‘n fiber, the protein in ProPeas helps increase satiety. Protein can also help improve metabolic rate, allowing the body to break down food and convert to energy faster and more effec-tively. And protein has an impact on the creation of lean muscle mass, which helps burn calories.
Shannon’s Lean Team lifestyle has pro-duced healthy weight loss results. ProPeas and fit ’n fiber can do the same for you. If you are serious about weight loss, give pro-tein and fiber from AIM a serious look.

A
2010 Convention
Park City is the perfect place to join AIM in celebrat-
ing another fabulous year and rejuvenate yourself and
your AIM business. There is still time to make plans to
attend, so put AIM’s convention on your calendar this
summer. Life is Good!
We look forward to seeing you in July!
Registration due: May 31, 2010. (A $50.00 late fee will
be assessed for registrations postmarked after Sunday,
May 31, 2010.)
Program HighlightsHear from AIM-sponsored athlete
J.R. Celski, a two-time medal win-
ner at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics,
as he recounts his journey of realiz-
ing his childhood dream by winning
a medal at the Olympics. Directors
Bob and Sue Celski will present the
“parents’ perspective” of J.R.’s excit-
ing year, leading up to the culmination of the Celski
Family Project. To complete J.R.’s story, AIM is pleased
to welcome Dr. Bill Moreau, U.S. Olympic Committee
Director of Sports Medicine Clinics and J.R.’s case man-
ager at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado
Springs, as he provides insight into the mental and physi-
cal challenges that J.R. had to overcome to compete at
the Vancouver Winter Games. J.R.’s accomplishments
are nothing short of miraculous, and you definitely will
not want to miss these presentations.
AIM-sponsored mountain climber Martin Benning
will present an update on his
Seven Summits Cancer Climb,
including details of his team’s
trek up Mt. Kosciuszko as well
as plans to conquer the final two
summits left – Antarctica’s Mt.
Vinson and Asia’s Mt. Everest.
Life is GoodLife is Good … in beautiful Park City, UtahAs host of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, Park City
made an impressive debut on the world stage in what
many consider to be the most successful Winter Olympics
ever. Only 35 minutes east of Salt Lake City, Utah, Park
City is a fabulous mountain getaway, measuring two miles
from end to end. It just goes to prove that sometimes good
things come in small packages.
The nearby Wasatch-Cache National Forest, located in
the heart of the Rocky Mountains, offers endless opportu-
nities for backpacking, hiking, camping, and fishing. If
shopping is more your style, then head down
to Park City’s Main Street where
you can wander from store
to store for hours on end.
Whether you are hiking a
beautiful nature trail, bik-
ing through the mountains,
or shopping till you drop,
the cool mountain air will
be a refreshing escape. With sum-
mer temperatures at an average high of
80 degrees, Park City is the perfect summer
retreat!
The breathtaking beauty of the Wasatch Mountain
Range will be right outside your window at the four-
star Canyons Resort, seated at the foot of Murdock Peak.
Combine these unbelievable views with the excitement
of seeing your AIM family to celebrate another year,
and you have the makings of a fabulous convention.
FloraFood bacteria name changeNew labels of AIM FloraFood® contain
a change to the name of one of the three bacteria in the formula. L. acidophilus is now classified as L. gasseri after microbi-ologists were able to more properly iden-tify the bacteria strain. The label change doesn’t alter the benefits of FloraFood because the formula is the same, only the name is new.
October AIMing Higher training seminarSet aside time on your calendar in October to attend
