Open Days brings together people and gardens as a gateway to learning, sharing, inspiration, and enjoyment.

For more than twenty years, the award-winning* outreach program has fostered meaningful connections by introducing more than one million visitors to thousands of private gardens around the country. In 2015 Digging Deeper was introduced —a new series of intimate forays into the diverse world of gardens and garden makers. Open Days continues to grow throughout the country, expanding into new regions with new gardens, lectures, symposia, hands-on activities, and children’s programming.

Open Days has generated hundreds of successful partnerships with public gardens, horticultural and preservation organizations, specialty growers, and community non-profits. Partnerships increase visibility for your organization, and align you with the Open Days audience in your region and beyond.

Open Days Partnership opportunities:

• help find outstanding private gardens to share with the public

• identify garden specialists, topics, or locations for Digging Deeper events

• promote and sell tickets for Open Days, bringing new consumers to your organization

• create pop-up shops or educational kiosks during Open Days to introduce your organization or products

• provide and coordinate volunteers for Open Days, creating awareness for your own public outreach
