A. OBJECTIVE TEST

Your examination in the papers in Section I under eachEngineering discipline (viz. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical andElectronics & Telecommunication) in Appendix I to theRules will be what is called an 'OBJECTIVE TEST. Inthis kind of examination (test) 5'0U d o »ot write answers.For each question (hereinafter referred to as item) severalsuggested answers (hereinafter referred to as responses aregiven. You have to choose one answer to each item.

This Manual is intended to give you some informationabout the examination so that you do not suffer due tounfamiliarity with the type of examination.

B. NATURE OF THE TEST

The question paper will be in the form of a TEST BOOK-LET. The booklet will contain items bearing numbers 1,2, 3 etc. Under each item will be given suggestedanswers marked a, b, c, d. Your task will bo to choosethe correct or if you think there are more than one correct,then the best answer. (See "Sample items" at the end).
