Remark:
A)-We place adverbs of frequency (always – usually – often – sometimes –
rarely – never) before the main verb, but after the verb be.
Eg.
- She often plays tennis. But He is always at home on Sundays.
- She doesn’t usually watch TV.
- Do you usually go to school by bus?
*With never we always use the affirmative form of the verb.
- She never drinks coffee.
B)- We use (How often) to ask about the frequency of an action and we use(
once -twice -three times……… a week/a month /a year…....etc./- never) in
the answer.
- How often do you go out?
I go out twice a week, but I never go out on Fridays.
Negative of present simple:
